  1. I recently replaced the top on my Boxster S. I had the same window yellowing issue, and the only way to address the issue (at least on the Boxster) is to remove the top and sew in a new window. Why? Because otherwise the window won't be tight when you put the top up and you'll have 'wrinkles' in the window. I ended up just buying a new top, since the majority of cost is in the labor. I bought the top online at topsonline.com for $400 or so. I had the top installed at mrstitch.com - in San Mateo. He did a beautiful job. I looked at several and he seemed the best; the results were great. Good

Here's my quick background: I bought my 2001 Boxster S in 2007 (paid $28K, had 22K miles), owned it for a month, then sold it to my friend because it just wasn't for me.
