  1. go look at 986forums.com -- there is a guy there that posted a 2003 S -- white with red leather and it is STUNNING! consider it.....
  2. yes, i wrote to sunset about that very thing and they did respond that wrile there is non in stock, they do go for @ $2000. :( bummer. that must be some pretty special paper.
  3. I have the same codes popped up on my car. this may sound completely moronic, but do they make a chiltons or haynes manual for this car? i dont even know how to get into the engine compartment. :(
  4. yes, protect our kids at any price. im glad it worked out for one of us :) i find that porsche was asking $600 for your seat is strange. then again, i know they have different seats for different ages. I got the Porsche Zoom seat (for 4-10 year olds).
  5. was not cheaper for me. I called him and he quoted me in the $500 range for the switch and install in my 2000 boxster S. He said they are very hard cars to install, and he would have to research more about it before giving me a firm quote. He is also absolutely incorrect about the porsche baby seat. I bought one (at $400, it was cheaper than the airbag on/off switch quote that i got). The seat plug into a buckle that is installed below the passanger seat. This buckle deactivates teh airbag -- absolutely NOTHING regarding weight/pressure/whatever (which is the BS he was shoveling my way as well). I confirmed this through my porsche dealer service manager. i am very happy with my expensive car seat -- and honestly i would not trust my precious 5 year old girl with that guy. Just my experience. :)
