  1. Mine is 1999, smooth (guessing without seeing a newer MY). I can post a picture if needed.
  2. After you figure it out, please post your results. The previous owner of my ride was your previous owner's dive partner. :P Thanks, Darren
  3. From what I have been seeing on Porsche forums, a typical CEL can be caused by: - An oxygen sensor tripping due to too much/not enough air in the mix. - A faulty MAF (again, emissions related). If you search a bit, you will find these too. Also, if you have an AutoZone around you, they will get you the P code. The problem they tell you related to the P code may not be correct however. A list of P codes can be found here: P Codes Searching these forums will be your best resource. Good luck, Darren
  4. Glad to help. Trying to give a little back! :) Remember there is an adjuster on the other side too. I would think if you turned each adjuster the same amount of turns, you'll keep the window level (I'm sure you are aware of that). -Darren
  5. Hey Dell, Here are a few search results: Need help changing wheels... 101 questions PSE Install...How To Safely Raise Rear of Car Using Jackstands, Jacking sequence I hope this helps, Darren
  6. ed, 1) I bought the car at the end of June and it was like that then. 2) You are correct, the adjustments are doable from under the door, as noted in the picture. I happened to be there and snapped a few pictures to show the mechanism that had been stated previously in the forum. Thanks for helping me clarify this, Darren
  7. Problem solved! Here was the problem, the window won't go down all the way: After following Loren’s steps to remove the door panel, I noticed that the forward track was being stopped by a factory stopper. I noticed there was another stopper below that. Pulled out the upper stopper and the window was able to run to the bottom. Cool. I also noted the height adjustment screws:
  8. Okay, I tried what you suggested and it still stops short. As for the angle, do you mean laterally (side to side) or longitudinally (front to back)? Either way, the angle appears the same as the driver’s side. How hard it is to take the door panel off? Are there detailed instructions that I can follow? Thanks for your help, Darren EDIT: I found your door panel removal instructions and will try that to see what's up.
  9. MY99 Is this normal? My guess would be no. Any ideas? The window travels down at the same speed as the driver’s, but stops about 3 inches from the bottom. Like it is supposed to stop there. Thanks, Darren
