  1. That's the answer I needed. Thanks very much and for the links too. bob
  2. Will an 02 TT engine lid/wing fit on my 03 C2? Fitment, fan, electrical connection to existing wiring thanks to all!
  3. Sure sounds right. Clutch switch? I presume some kind of switch that prohibits starting the car without the clutch being depressed? Do you know where it is? thanks for the reply
  4. About every 8-10 starts, I push the clutch in, turn the key (dash lights come on), but the car doesn't kick over. I release the clutch, press it in again and it starts like normal. I'm worried that I'll get stranded. It's an 03 C2. I guess it's going in to the dealer but anyone know what's going on?
  5. Loren, Worked like a charm; took all of 1 minute. thanks!! bob :clapping:
  6. Saw on an earlier thread that to remove the rear view mirror attached to the windshield you twist it off. But what twists off: is it the bracket that is mounted to the glass or is it the ball-in-socket on the back of the mirror? Any tips? hints? thanks bob
  7. They will fit and work without the wiring. How do I know? I did this very thing with my wife's boxster. I removed them and the wiring before I traded my boxster (I installed them originally) and then installed them in my wifes car without the wiring. I will do the wiring later. The litronics will work, but you will not get the benefit of the highbeams lifting to fill. The high beams work they just don't rotate up; a main feature. Just be careful to pay attention to the direction of removal using the supplied allen wrench. Too many twists and you can damage the mounting plate like me :-) Follow the manual Yes, I believe it matters if they are LHD or RHD because of the bulb aiming. You'll be blinding drivers if you use the LHD vs. RHD No switch that I know of.
