Anyone replace the horn in their vehicle with something a bit louder. My 996 C2 got hit this weekend in a parking lot despite me beeping the horn non-stop. I was in a position where I could not move, and the other driver barely heard the horn and couldn't see my car (he was in a truck). There has to be a louder alternative that will plug and play, yes?

Yes, did the deed last night in 30 minutes. Hardest part was soldering the wires to the opener's circuit board. Now if I could just figure out how to get it to illuminate with the lights on... Thanks to all for the comments and links, and I made a contribution to Renntech to show my appreciation.

Ah, good thread. I am looking for the part # for the plastic holes (using the lingo from the thread). They were looking for the collar. Anyone have that part #. -

That is a good thread, but it's not what I need. I am looking for a part number for a switch that will mount below the PSM switch to the left of the radio. That thread uses a different mounting location and it does not provide a part number for the switch (at least I did not see one). Would the same switch work in a different location?

I'd like to use one of the blanks to the left of my radio, below the PSM switch, for my garage door opener. Does anyone know a part number for a switch that fits there; it needs to be a momentary contact type switch that keeps the circuit completed only as long as you hold it down. 2001 C2 cab

I lost one of the small, round plastic covers for the hole for the hardtop mounts (rear left and right). Can anyone provide the replacement part number. I think they are the same whether it is right or left side.
