  1. great! I'm ordering them right now, you did the 305/35/22 PIRELLI right? you said the tires stick out? off the rims? does it look strange? any possible way to post a picture? Thanks for the reply
  2. when do you try it out? If it clears the ball joint im going to order them the second you say it does. If it rubs on plastic it is not a fig deal to heat up with heat gun and stretch it back. there is plenty of room behind the inner fender wells to go back enough to not rub. I have already looked at doing it. I dieing to order them. Im even willing to cut extra treads on ball joint to clear. please let us know Thanks!
  3. Its going to be real close. The main concern is the upper ball joint. the rubbing on the plastic is not a big deal and can be fixed. my overall diameter is 29.2 and the sise your trying in a 30.4. im about to order tires and am curious if they will fit too let me know
  4. I am a installer for HID in SF bay area my shop is in novato and i live in sausalito. 400$ installed with 2 year warenty. I install these a lot and the f1speck kit is the best for the price. I have installed these on my cayenne in the headlights, fogs, and the turning projectors. call me up if your interested. If you have any problem with them i warenty my self and swap on the spot if i have the part in stock. call me up Justin 415-246-6607 Im also doing all cinds of modifactions to mine so if your interested in anything else let me know
  5. I would be interested. in San Fran area, just joined, I have a cayenne s I'm about to get drop springs for, Do you think it would be possible to use the lift to tackle that job? I'm new to Porsche's but have lowered and customized many others. might be able to help other with projects, I have tons of body shop knowledge and I am a car audio installer. would be nice to meet ya all.
  6. yes i did it. the fogs are easy but in order to trick the computer so you dont get error messages you have to add a wedge bulb in line to correct the resistance. same with cornering projectors. but with the cornering lites as often as the turn on and off will take the life right out of the ballasts and not any benefit for visability. they take a second to get bright and will not work well. I just tricked the computer and wired them with a relay to the fog light switch. now there are on all the time. I did 8000k in every light possible
  7. you mentions you wanted to replace the cornering light to hid and fogs? I did this mod and it is harder than you think, i eassly did the foglights but you have to add resistance in line so you dont get err dash codes. i used 8000k and matched the headlights with 8000k too. looks great. now the turning bulbs are the same as they need resistance but hid in there does not heat up to full brightness right away. so they will not be any brighter unless you do donuts a lot. lol. it will also wear out ballast really fast. what im doing is re wiring the turning projectors turn on with fog lights. they still need the resistance but this can be done using wedge bulbs and hiding them in housing ware they wont burn anything. then relay power directly from battery.
  8. I just got 23 rinspeeds for my cayenne s on springs. tire size 315, 25, 23 im about to drop on eibachs because i have heard the ride in a little bit better than h&rs. if not let me know! ill try something else. I am also looking for the largest or tallest tire I could put on these rims. I know 23 are not that common, but has anyone put any large tire on any other rim sises?, if I have the size i can calculate the hight than I can convert it to see what the largest options are for me to install with ought hitting the upper ball joint. has anyone modified the ball joint to get larger tires on? what sise tire were you trying to fit? I was considering it. please help, Thanks, Justin now 315-25-23 hight29.2 too small posibilities? 305-30-23 30.2 305-35-23 31.7
  9. any thing else you can say about them? instal your self? what exactly changed in the ride quality? im about to install eibachs on mie just because i heard the ride smoother than the h&r springs, im ;looking for the best ride, not handleing. is the ride alot worse? shorter travel? faster return, harsher pot holes ect, thanks im dieng to know. Justin
