    I am on my second set of Latitude Sports. The Latitude sports pattern are identical to PS2 tires, which were made for high performance sports car. This tires perform outsdanding feel on both dry/wet road. very quiet as well. They last about 25000-30000KM (25% highway, 75% local). If you plan to drive in snow, I guess you want to go with some other brands, because Latitudes Sports doesn't run on snow!!!

    Thanks Loren. Mudman, just like you said, it pop out for no reason. When I tried to insert it back to the hole, I accidently press to hard and it fell into the hole.....that plastic cap is in there somewhere. I guess only way to find it is to take the lower panel off...... get a new one is more convenience By the way, can you help me measure the size of that filler? so I can order the right one. Thanks!

    Loren, in the lower left corner of picture (where the red arrow point to) shown a black round plastic cap, it's missing on my car. Can you find out the part number for that? 2004 Cayenne S. Thanks! p.s. the picture belongs to mudman2, I borrowed it from his website.

    Loren, I need the part number for this item in the engine bay. Sorry I don't know what's this thing called, but I took a picture and the item is indicated by the RED arrow. It's for 2004 Cayenne S. Recently I had my car serviced at local shop, I was told that the rubber on this "bar" is worn, and need to replace this bar. otherwise I will feel the vibration when engine is idle. is that correct? Thanks!

    just curious, do I really need to change coolant? if so, how often should I change coolant? I thought Porsche claimed their coolant are good for lifetime?

    The service reminder will shown only when you turned on the engine and it goes off after while. it's normal. The CDS T09, isn't that indicating the sound track you are listening? CDS T09 (CD Single, Track 09)

    can you give more detail or explain how you open it up? once you pry open the head of it, were you able to close it again? (if so, then I can transparent the ic chip to the new remote) Thanks!

    I did a little search on the forum but still can't find a right answer. My key fob is in pretty bad shape, I would like to replce it with a new one. After seaching the forum I know its key blade can be taken off and put it on the new remote. Since my key fob works ok, but the plastic cover is in bad shape, I was thinking to purchase a new remote key fob off from ebay. Now the question is, is there a way to open up the outside cover of the key fob? (I would like to transparent the remote chip, battery, key blade over to the new remote fob) is it a way to go? or I still need a dealer to reprogrammed the new remote?

    Recently I bought a set of ignition coil set for Suncoast Porsche Parts Dep. for my 2004 Cayenne S (V8) It is made by Beru, part NO. 948.602.104.05 Is this the right parts for my car? what's the difference between the .03 and .05 coils?

    mine is 04 Cayenne S, same thing, everytime I turn on the engine, the average speed shown on the display. I guess ours are normal.........

    I noticed that all the 12V sockets in the cayennes are power on even without engine running..... is there any way that I can rewire it so it is off when I switch off the engine? Thanks!

    When I scroll through the dash display, there is no tire pressure info. but under "setting" "Unit" "Tyre Pressure" there's option let me choose either "PSI" or "bar". I assumed this car came with TPMS, but the sensors were missing? The question is, for those Cayenne WITHOUT TPMS, can you see Tyre Pressure unit selection in the dash display? (I changed new tires recently, none of the sensors were installed on the rims, I am not sure if the previous owner bought TPMS option)

    how to check if TPMS came with car? bought my '04 Cayenne S used, previous owner upgraded wheels to 19", it doesn't have the sensor on the wheel. When I look up in the dashboard infomation window, there is a selection under "Unit" -> "Tyre Pressure" where I can choose bar or psi. other then that, no other TPMS menu as shown in the user's manual. So does that means TPMS option is available in my car? all I need is purchse new sensor and install on the rims?

    It happened on my 04 CS recently. I have set everyting up on key A, but when use Key B, all setting are gone. I found out "reset to factory setting", then set the comfort program again, it went back to normal, both keys works ok now.

    Loren, actually I am not going to do this by myself so I really don't need procedure. what I really need is the part number. I am in Taiwan. the local Porsche dealer only accept cars that they sold for service. because my car is self-imported from U.S.,I will have this service done by a shop (not Porsche dealer) These shop usually cost extremely high on the parts, low on the labors. so it would be cheaper if I purchase these maintenance parts from U.S., ship back to Taiwan and have them do the serivce. So I am asking for whatever parts (number) that I need for this serivce, I will use them to order from U.S. Thanks!!

    please list all the parts (and parts #) that I need in order to change ATF fluid (transmission oil) for 2004 Cayenne S with tiptronic. also, I need to know if Mobil ATF 3309 fluid (http://www.mobiloil.com/USA-English/MotorOil/Other_Products/Mobil_ATF_3309.aspx) works OK on my Cayenne S. it is Porsche approvals in the back of package. Thanks in advance. P.S. how often should I change the tranmission filter? every time I have ATF service, or certain miles?

    Thanks for the reply. Let me make it clear, from your reply, if I want to access to the center grill, then I have to remove the front bumper. If I just want to access the LOWER side grill section then just remove the under plate, the bumper stay on the car right? Thanks again

    I need to hook up radar detector unit (I am in Taiwan) it should be installed behind front grill toward to the front. I need to know the easiest way (direction) to reach behind front grill. (Not necessary to take off the whold bumper off, but just my hand and that radar unit to go behind that grill) Thanks in advance.

    Is it true that Cayenne S antifreeze coolant never need to change? I saw it somewhere on Porsche's website. The service manual says check coolant level, but nothing about change coolant. I live in southern part of Taiwan, the temperature here is 25~35 celsius, (around 70~90 fahrenheit) all around th year. Most of vehicle here change coolant, break fluid and AT fluid every 2 years or so, due to the warm weather and bad driving condition here. So should I go ahead and change the coolant every 2 years like most of the vehicle here, or should I follow with Porsche's manual? P.S. My cayenne is a self-imported car from US, so it is not service at the local Porsche dealership (They charge extreme high for all Porsche not purchsed from them) Also, I would like to know how often should I change the AT fluid, too. I have tiptronic. Thanks

    I would like to know what type of ATF fluid (off the shelf) should I use for 2004 Cayenne S? I noticed that Mobil ATF 3309 meets Prosche Cayenne S Type T-IV. is this good enough for my Cayenne S? Also, on the brake fluid, I am considering switch to ATE Super Blue, is it ok too? Cayenne S is my daily driving car, no track, normal driving style. Any suggestion is welcome, thanks.

    I think the stock front rotor for Cayenne S are 350mm, I have 19" wheels. Loren, Thanks for the help. I know my Cayenne S was produced on Aug 2003, and it has Silver finish calipers (aren't all the Cayenne S came with the same rotors? ) The VIN # WP1AB29P24LA70113 also, does it consider as 2003 model or 2004 model? (the car is Taiwan now, I don't records from previous owner). Thanks again!
