  1. Hi, Just tried the new 2013 Cayman S. Amazing car! One of the things that impressed me was the effectiveness of the brakes. As good as my old 997 Turbo! And the hardware looks almost identical to my current Boxster PDE2. So I have been looking at what they did. I am focusing on the brake booster. I know a lot of folks with 987's have been installing the GT3's master cylinder to improve feel. I wonder if the solution lies in the booster. Does anyone know the part number for the booster on the new Cayman S? I already have the numbers for the 997, 987.1, 987.2. Thanks
  2. Anyone know if the 997.1 GT3 rear sway bar fit the 997.1 Turbo?
  3. What did you get? Consider the Bridgestone RE11. Great grip, softer than other R coumpound tires, less choppy.
  4. My 2007 997 Turbo has all the navigation hardware, but no map. Any idea about South America navigation maps? Thanks
  5. I have a similar issue with Hawk HPS pads for my 2008 Carrera. Hawk's Web page lists the same part number for the Carrera, the S and the Turbo. The pads arrived and they are much longer than stock. Obviously they seem to befor a Carrera S. Anyone has resolved this issue? I now don't know what the part number is for my car.
  6. Check out the new Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec. Grip is pretty awwesome (similar to Pirelli Corsa's - I had them too), UTOG is a very decent 200 and turn sharpness is great. Best value out there IMO.
  7. Can anyone help me with ways to adjust the height of my 993 cabrio? The former owner installed th eH&R coil overs and set up the height. The rear seems OK, but I find the front like 0.5 inches lower than the rear. My understanding if that these two have to be equal? I have 225/40/18 front and 285/30/18 rears on Pirelli Rosso's. I know how to raise or lower the suspension, but don't know if they need to be equal or what. Also, what height is best, assuming street driving. Orc
