  1. I installed a set of Porsche Clubsport fixed back seats in my 2007 997.1 GT3RS. They work great with 6 pt harnesses but have proven difficult to buckle the OE 3 pt seat belts. The problem is the seat belt receiver is too short and pinched between the seat and center console to easily reach. I have seen the Porsche 997 GT2 folding CF seats (the P03 Sport Bucket option seats for the 997.2 GT3/RS and Boxster) and the seat belt receivers appear to be longer. I have also read that the European Clubsport packages (for the 997.1 GT3RS) included a longer seat belt receiver to remedy this problem. Does anyone have a part number for the 997 GT2 seat belt receiver or the 997.1 European Clubsport seat belt receiver? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

  3. I recently was told that the 997.2 GT3 380 mm front and 350 mm rear steel rotors are "direct bolt-in" replacements for the 997.1 PCCB rotors. The 997.2 steel rotors are compatible with the 997.1 PCCB caliper as long as the proper brake pads are used. Does anyone have the part numbers for the 997.2 GT3 front and rear steel rotors? Does anyone know if they are 2-pice and/or cross-drilled? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  4. Thanks; that's just what I needed.
  5. When I purchased my used GT3 RS it did not have the owner's manual amongst the documentation. The dealer tried to make good but they supplied me with a GT3 owner's manual (part # WKD99732107) that has no information about the RS variant. Can anyone provide me with the Porsche part number for the RS version of the manual so I can give it to my dealer to order? Thanks for any guidance.
  6. I have attached a link to a thread on 6speedonline directly related to the use of the Cup rotors to replace the PCCB. You may find it very informative. PCCB to GT3 Cup steel rotors- bitter sweet conversion I have also been looking at 2 piece steel rotor alternatives that are compatible with the OEM PCCB caliper. Stoptech makes a DRK front (81.796.9911) and rear (81.792.9912) set as does Giro disc but I don't have the Giro part numbers. The Stoptechs require a modified brake pad. Based on what I have been told the pads need to be cut down as the factory rotor has a large annulus and the Stoptech has a small annulus. But Stoptech has already modified pads available from PFC (01 & 97 compound) and Porterfield R4S. I have the templates for modifying the front (D991) and rear (D1300) shapes if you need them.
