  1. I just checked my 2003 996 X50 and it reads 996 111 987 74. So I guess it would be obvious to at least conclude that the Std TT has a different exhaust than the GT2/X50 and a number of revisions have quite possibly been made to the GT2/X50 exhaust since 02 (e.g., 72, 74, 76). They seem to be related to the years/versions vs. whether or not GT2 or X50. I know for a fact that the X50 has a more aggresive sound and is one of the items mentioned in the X50 package. If you find out something different, let me know. Thanks, Alex
  2. Loren, is their a different part number for the x50 muffler vs the std TT? PS this is the guys response to my question: "Yes the X50/GT2 share the same exhaust, part number is 996 111 987 76" Alex
  3. Is there a difference between the X50 Exhaust system/muffler/Cat and the standard TT? I've seen some people selling the "X50/GT2" as thought it's different. See ebay
  4. Could you fax them to 408-486-5772 or email them via a PDF file to alex_garcia@mindspring.com if possible? The TSB's are not for the 996 Coupes that would include the 03 model.
  5. Loren, they would be the same for both. Do you know where I can the installation instructions and parts contained in the roof kit for the 996? Thanks
  6. Your dealer should do this at no charge. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you recommend upgrading to 3.0 OS and getting the new Map?
  7. I have a 2003 PCM II with 2.0 software. What do I need to do to use the latest mapping software? Are there any visible benefits upon upgrading to OS 3? I use to have the problems with the Bose/PCM II and they did a version upgrade to it at Porsche. It works fine now.
  8. There is a TSB that states that the ducts are not to be used in the TT with ceramic brakes. Check the TSB about the ducts.
  9. Yes the Intercoolers are the same as those used in the Turbo GT. My mechanic should me that is the only way to tell from the outside the difference between a standard TT and the X50 package. You look up from beneath the rear bumper and they have longer "blades".
  10. Which spoiler is that on your car? If you don't mind sharing how much for the part, painting, and where did you get it? Thanks, Alex
  11. No questions yet just want to say hello. I have a 2003 Seal Grey Turbo with X50 Package.
