  1. I purchased the mobridge ipod for MY04S and I was trying to locate information in how to remove the CDC4 (cd changer) and the PCM navigation head unit. Thanks Josh
  2. I think the parts were about $200ea and my dealer charged for 3hr time $225. I ordered the parts through suncoast porsche
  3. my 04CS were pretty worn about 82000 and had both the uppers replaced. improved handling was noticed
  4. How does the phone work. Just like it was the SIM inside my PCM? Also how do you pair the phones does it somehow add in menu options to do this? On the ipod front I read something about it being able to get lots of song titles on the screen. how does it do this when its just pretending to be a CD changer. I have an 04 with Nav but no phone buttons and was wanting to add the ipod/bluetooth combo but when I spoke to mobridge they said it would not work. What did you need to make this happen on yours? thanks josh
  5. yes just tried again 'No Discs Avail', I will prob look to add the mobridge unit. thanks josh
  6. thanks, it has not worked since I purchased it last year. I just bought a new magazine but no go with that either.
  7. Ok I just got back in town and checked the fuse it is ok, I insert the cd magazine and you hear the changer accessing the CDs, then when I press the CDC button it says no CD available. I have all 6 slots filled and checked with the CD facing either way to verify I had them inserted correct. The CDs will play in the dash but cannot get the CD Changer to play them. any thoughts? thanks Josh the single cd works withe the nav disc or any cd and nav system is ok, when I put in a magazine you can hear the changer load, then I press the cdc button and no dics avail. I have tried a dozen different cds and no luck. even filpped them just to make sure they were not in upside down. thanks josh
  8. just the clunking and the drivers side was the only worn one. and yes had tire wear as well from this. big difference after the change less play it seems and steering more firm. josh
  9. My 04S started doing the squeel on start about month ago, how long do you have before the starter goes? I dont mind the sound but dont want to be stuck somewhere not starting. thanks josh
  10. I have the same issue, shop is replacing the control arm since the item is all one piece. The bushing on it is pretty worn and said it cannot be replaced directly. control arm and hardware is $224 from sunset and $100 for install. this will be done end of next week. thanks josh
  11. where do I find the fuse for this? the single cd works withe the nav disc or any cd and nav system is ok, when I put in a magazine you can hear the changer load, then I press the cdc button and no dics avail. I have tried a dozen different cds and no luck. even filpped them just to make sure they were not in upside down. thanks josh

  13. I have a 04 CS with PC/NAV and factory cd changer. When I put cds original or burned in the changer and press the cd button it does not do anything. Any thoughts on what this might be? thanks josh
  14. Josh.... where are you located... what was the temperature the day the fault occured ?? Was it raining or snowing at the time ? NE Ohio and was around 32F outside with a light snow. I just spoke to my buddy and he had the same issue and I guess the dealer replaced the servo motor(thats what he called it) and he has not had any issue since.
