  1. Hey guys, just wanted to let all of the Ontario members that there is a new mechanic in town that now works on Porsche's. His rates are excellent and he has a Durametric tool for Porsche. His Name is Roman Sura and his shop is called Autocube, on Victoria St in Kitchener. He also woks on other cars such as BMW, Audi and VW's. Great guy and really knows his stuff.

  3. Loren, what would be my next step, I have tried many different combos of the code #'s you gave me, and nothing works. My dealer is quite a drive away, so is there anyone I can call to get other codes if I give them the proper info?? What will the dealer do differently than you?? Also, would calling becker be an option, will they give codes over the phone. Thank you for all your help again, you are a great guy to have around to help solve all our problems!!   4. on a side note, the card that came with the radio says serial# BE 6625 1 5003216 code #8326 not sure if this helps
  5. tried both, unsucessful. :angry: any others?? the original #is 8326 not sure if it matters, but the new radio is from an 02 boxster and its now in my 99 996. thanks again Loren.

  8. hey guys, looking for some help plz. I switched out my radio, becker cdr 220 in my 1999 996 for another becker cdr 220 from a boxster. Radio code the guy gave me with the radio doesn't work. please help!! becker 1 4462 #25011012 24/99 thanks dave.

  10. My car has alot of rust on the exhaust, what is the best way to remove it. Steel wool and polish?? Thanks.
  11. yes, its a two piece section that forms one actual piece. Silver where the P, D, R ect are on , and the black mounting piece that attaches to the console. Sorry for my impatience.

  13. i had my car on a lift today and noticed a hell of alot of oil or, grease, very thick, on the bottom of the car. Its not an rms leak as that is dry, thank goodness, can someone tell me what that is. Its near the rear of the car but closer to the front than the rms. Any ideas guys. thanks in advance.
  14. could someone tell me how to remove the console around my tiptronic shifter. The paint has bubbled and looks like crap, so I ordered a new one but have no idea how to get it off. Not the whole console but just the 2 plastic pieces around the shifter, one is black the other silver. thanks !! :D

  16. guys, please help. My radio is completely dead. I have the code but there is no lights , sound., nothing. What should I do. I have a 99 996 cabrio. thanks
