  1. I did some stuff to mine. All original Porsche parts though. You can check my signature for details and view photos on the link at the bottom. :)
  2. If you're buying and keeping it I would go with a 2000 Boxster S. You will pay less and take less of a hit on resale when the new shape comes out for 2005. I think that 2000+ were alot better than the 1997-1999 2.5L models as far as reliability.
  3. I had the body shop who did my bumper and side skirts spray my bumperettes with the original Porsche paint that they used for the other pieces and then clear coat them and bake them. They are identical in color and shine to the rest of the car. :)
  4. I wish I would have seen this earlier today! I did it wrong and broke my entire windshield. I am having it replaced in 2 days and learned an expensive lesson! :(
  5. Yes, but what is so special about it? Isn't it the same as the regular one?
  6. Simple, right click on the caliper and select the "eyedropper" tool. Then simply match the color of the caliper to the windows color chart and you have it! Hope that helps!
  7. I don't track the car so the stock Boxster S/996 brakes are fine for me. Speaking of minor upgrades, you need some clear side markers. :D
  8. I like mine alot better than the stock shifter. Email me at donteventryme@aol.com. I have something good to show you. :)
  9. Nelson, Where in NYC are you? I'm in Staten Island and just did my B&M 2 weeks ago. Email me if you want. :)
  10. The way I see it is all else being equal, the two cars weigh differently and as a result the struts may have different tolerances. I would recommend changing suspension parts with ones that are spec'd out for your application. :)
  11. I wasn't aware that a 99 had PSM. I thought it was just regular TC back then.
  12. I don't have close ups of the wheel. If you tell me exactly the angle you want I'll snap some and post them for you. The spokes on these are hollow and they are lighter than my old Turbo Twists even though they are wider. :)
  13. If you want to get technical about the law than you should not go over the speed limit either! What's the difference, tint them as you see fit based on preference and enjoy! :)
  14. I got a 35% tint which is darker than the 50% on Kirby's car. I didn't want to go for 20% as it is too dark for my liking. I am happy with the 35%. I waited 2 days to let it dry.
