  1. I have an 07 and 08 RS and have not had issues with resonance or rattles. They are both NA versions.
  2. I would agree with having the rms replaced under warranty. Last december I had it replaced on my 07 RS and was told there was some updated spring with the seal and it's not leaked yet. I also have one of the last 08 RSs built (has the newer seal) and have had no leak. Also, when these cars sit the oil can seep around the seal causing the leak. When the car is run, the vacuum tightens the seal up and the leak many times stops. You may want to look for that as well. Good luck!
  3. the TPM is useful for seeing trends....like a tire going down. But I always rely on a good handheld guage to set pressure. If you lower the tire pressures to ~ 28psi cold before a track event that will trigger and error message. I have handled that by starting the "set" process as I head to the grid. As the process procedes during the warm up lap you will then have the actual pressures displayed and can monitor for a tire going down.
  4. That is a normal characteristic as others have stated. Both of mine behave that way.
  5. I have an 07 and an 08 RS. The rattling is normal and not a worry. During breakin just make sure you vary the rpms frequently. As far as limiting the rpms, while the manual recommends this, all GT3/GT3RS engines are broken in on the dyno. This means full rpm and full load. The oil is then changed. You'll have to decide what makes you comfortable. I kept it under 4,200 for 250 miles and began gradually increasing the rpm until 1,000 miles when I just drove it.
  6. I have had valentine one detectors for years.....they're great! Not only is the ability to know where the signal is coming from very helpful, but you can always send the unit in for updates when they come out. That allows you to avoid the cost of buying an entire new detector every few years.
