  1. Thanks - just found a distributor in the city here too!
  2. Is there a recommended place to pick up said software & connector? Saw it on the durametric site for $247. Which is still cheaper than taking it to the dealership. :P
  3. Now that's funny. I'm originally from Esterhazy, SK. I'll be out that way in May, and I drive through Regina to get there.
  4. Looking through this list, most of the steps seem easy enough to complete at home. The only one that's throwing me off is "Throttle actuation: Check smooth operation, check full throttle position with the Tester " Is this tester something that's easily available? Or is it a specialty tool?
  5. Hi! I've been lurking around the forums for a few months, thought it's about time for a proper intro. After a few (too many) years I'm back in a Porsche! Just bought a 2000 996 C2 Coupe. 55,000 miles, great condition. Get to pick it up this weekend (April 5). The last Porsche was a 1987 924S, so this is a slight step-up for me :D
  6. Heating it up a bit with a hair dryer before using the dental floss works wonders. That's how I've taken my badges off. ** note: do not use an actual heat gun - they get too hot and will damage the paint **
