  1. Hey, just wanted to share with you all that this place was very good for brakes & rotors. http://allgermanparts.com/
  2. Thanks very much for your replies...or only helpful reply (Tool Pants)...it seems like you had the very same question yourself. It's a shame that there's no easy fix, like pressing both plus and minus buttons at the same time while pressing Auto and turning the ignition halfway while leaving the car in neutral rolling down a hill backwards. I'll just have to live with the ongoing confusion of figuring out why I did something manually and it's telling me that I just did something manually. Very interesting...I guess it's just like how with the tiptronic version when you put the car into drive the little 'D' is highlighted on the console and when you put the car into manual the little 'M' is highlighted. I wonder, what's German for 'M'?
  3. Hey everyone, This is perhaps a weird posting, but i've been reading RennTech forums for a couple years now, no one has brought this up, so I finally broke down to write this question. Whenever I manually adjust my a/c-heating...the display shows Manuell. I'm assuming it should say MANUAL...but it doesn't...it says MANUELL. Can I change this? Not like it's cooling in espanol or anything like that...but it just kinda always left me scratching my head. Anything outside of sarcasm would be appreciated. Oh, forget it...I'll take sarcasm too! Oh, if it makes any difference it's a 1999 Boxster.
  4. Got my Yokohama Avs Es-100 tires from Tirerack. Had 'em for 30,000 miles and got the same tires as the replacement. It's been very grippy, handles well in So Cal weather...and held very nicely in some heavy Northern Cal rains. And you can't beat the price.
  5. I just got a Boxster the beginning of August. What do you clean the convertable top with...just water? Soap and water? Do you rinse it off, or dry it with a towel? What's up with 'top' car care?
  6. That was a 'fast reply'. Thanks very much...but umm...you're talking about the center console where the driver's right elbow is kind of at? That's kind of weird that if that's not closed properly (or has a bad switch) that it affects the beep. The point being though that the security is relatively the same with and without beep, right?
  7. Hi all...by the way, this site has been an awesome resource for me so far. Looking for some clarification on a no-big-deal subject. ('99 Boxster) Sometimes when I set the alarm, the lights blink twice and the horn sounds...sometimes the horn doesn't sound. What gives?
