    Hi All Can't stand it any more.... two phone numbers, forwarding calls etc etc.... What is the best BT solution? Is the mobridge ipod solution with BT out yet?? Or is the Parrot kit better??? Or even the (expensive) Tooki system Ideally want to be able to use the cars existing steering wheel controls, mic & speakers. Help really confused...

    We all had this in some form back then. The main cause was that dealers did not know how to set them up. Many came from the plant with bad alignment, bad cardan shafts and poorly mounted tires. After the dealers got the hang of things this mostly disappeared. The main cause IMHO was the need for road force balancing on a Hunter machine. Mine has been solid since then but I make sure the dealer fits the tires. Sorry all, but I still don't understand what the stepper motor is... Even more in the dark after the above post :D :D Anyone want to help out in "idiot" language????

    Hi All Still looking for the ever elusive hens teeth - the nav update cd as included in the complete Map DVD update pack. The part number is 000.044.901.40 Else I have the 05.2007 EUROPE DVD for sale - still manufacture sealed. Fingers crossed someone has these files :rolleyes:

    Hi All Well got the bits for the retro fit of the cruise system. From an 04 workshop guide it looks like you have to take out the signal/indicator stalk and attach the cruse to this switch then reinstall the two switches together. But I have an 05 Cayenne and don't know if there is any difference Is it possible to take out these switches, without removing the steering wheel???? Just asking as I don't fancy mucking about with this (aribags & sensors etc etc...) Also does anyone have instructions for the retrofit? Scratching my head so could do with some help... Thanks Lee

    Hi All Switch et al arrived today - thank you Gert - what an array of items I have, and I have no idea what needs doing. :unsure: Please help. Got the easy bits done - removed steering trim :D Cant see how to put switch in without removing the steering wheel & Contact unit for airbag. Not a job I am even going to attempt - ever!!!! So far as wiring up the switch, it looks like its alread done, part of the wiring loom. If anyone has some instructions I would love the assistance. So far not an easy DIY job.     Hi RFM Ordered the retro kit from Gert - http://www.carnewal-europe.com/main.htm Don't know if this helps. He is ordering direct from Germany with an approx lead time of 7days to the UK. So I am very impressed. Just wondering if you could post or pm me with more details about the install?? Interested in where the wire routes, pictures would be really helpful especially of the "blue connector" Thanks Lee

    Hi Loren Scratching my head to find the update CD for the PCM2.1 From Version 04202xxx Level B upwards I have part number 000 043 205 47 002 as being discontinued. So I don't know if this is a USA number or for all markets - I am UK based. Can find "000 043 205 47" but no ideal what this is Already bought (but not yet delivered) the 05.2007 original (still sealed) Europe map DVD from fleabay. Please help before I pull what little hair I have out lol Thank you in anticipation Lee

    Hi All As per header. Looking to upgrade the maps on the pcm have a choice between 10.2006 & 05.2007 Anyone know of the differences/improvements as being a "tight northern b@start" thser is quite a price difference. Still looking for PCM s/w update CD's for the PCM 2.1 Cayenne Rev A to B, B to C, C to C1 - CD usually provided by OPC when updating. Also does anyone know if its possible to update Ver 2.1 to Ver 3.x or is it a hardware change? Many thanks Lee

    Thank you again Richard Looking at the list ~ £50+vat can this be correct???? Where do you get this information from??? Sorry to keep asking questions, but only owned the CS for about 2 weeks and still feel like a child So really new to this Porsche ownership - satisfaction of a promise to myself since I was about 6 to own a Porsche before my 40th :lol: Is there any way to get the newer copy and a price list? Seen loads of stuff to spend my hard earned on Than you again Lee

    Thank you again Richard Got to ask - how do you buy the part separately???? And what is the "Tequipment Catalogue"???? So far as OPC Leeds - took them over a week to get the CD Autochanger bracket, but at least they did supply all the nuts & bolts which made fitting a breeze :D Kind regards Lee

    Hi All Asked local (leeds) dealer said it is NOT possible due to needing loads of sensors etc :( Don't understand as there are loads of adverts for aftermarket options. Did you have any luck? Is there a TSB LOREN please help :P

    Cool - I will cost up the electrics today. Only need a manual system, as I only tow the smallest of trailers to the local recycling center Thank you for your help. Do we know if there is a technical paper on this? Thanks again Lee
