  1. Wurth Citrus Degreaser works great on a Q-Tip. Can you share a source for the Wurth Citrus? I also need some of their spray paint. Can't seem to find a retail source.
  2. Thanks Paul. Clear I need to explore the site. Did not realize what was available.
  3. Hmmmm.......I just had W737 performed. Bought my '06 C2 used in April. CarFax told me that the procedure had not been done. I called a dealer in CA and they said it had something to do with engine management, did not affect car's performance and not urgent. I waited until I needed oil service and took the car to the nearest dealer here in OR, 180 miles from my home. They told me the update had to do with controlling an engine cooling fan that ran too long on some cars. Not sure if that comes under the heading of "engine management" or if one or the other was misinformed. When they did the download it somehow destroyed the DME. Tech said he had heard of that happening but had never personally experienced the problem. They gave me a free loaner as they did not have a new DME in stock. I had the pleasure of an additonal 360 mile round trip. Can someone tell me what letters "DME" represent? I understand it is the "main computer". I guess a new one would have the latest software!
  4. Thanks all. I have a Tip S. As I said, new to the liquid cooled car. I just see three radiator cores through the bumper which collect lots of expired bugs. Guess I'll stick to a brush and water for now. Not ready to remove the bumper.
  5. My '06 Carrera is my first Porsche with a radiator and oil cooler in the front. As I was washing the car yesterday I noticed that a vast bug graveyard has formed on the cores. Should I be concerned about diminished air flow over time? I tried brushing/hosing with limited success. Is there a more effective cleaning procedure?
