  1. The time has come to change my tyres, presently on Michelin super sport, any recommendations?
  2. Had a 997-1 4S manual with sport exhaust and was disappointed by the lack of power, traded it in for a 9971 TT manual and love the car... Especially with the TechArt sport exhaust. Sure I'll get bashed but the 4S almost felt like driving an Audi, great car, superb road holding but no umph factor. The TT is on a league of it's own
  3. The time has come to change the tyres on my 997-1TT 2008, presently running Pirelli P0, was wondering between the P0 Corsa, the Michelin pilot cup? any other suggestions? Thanks for all the tips Francois
  4. Congratulation on the choice... There are a different league altogether, was bored with my 997 C4S but always have a grin in the TT. From what I hear they are rather bullet proof engine wise. Why did you choose the tiptronic if you had manual before? :-)) Francois

    ATR

Thanks Philip, comments noted. Have been sent the below site by a freind http://www.goapr.com...ategory=Porsche Have not had a chance to look at it in depth as to the available possibilities. Was interested in case somebody had it fitted. As have another year of extended warranty till June 2012, rather be a good boy till then as with sods law something is bound to go wrong.... By the way we are supposed to have 100 octane though I'm sure it should not be better than 95 at end of day. Mini JCW is great fun, taking out the Porsche now only when the ride is worth it. Though always a pleasure to get behind the wheel.

Somebody has mentioned a company called ATR? that chips the 911TT to 650 bhp. Anybody out there who could give me some further informations? Not that I am not happy with the power as is.. but Thanks
  7. Thanks, then at about 19l/100km I'm in line with the general consumption. Just got myself a mini cooper works for commuting. Great little car and about 7.8l/100km with enthusiastic driving!!!
  8. Thanks for the replies,I tend to use 100 octane unleaded Francois
  9. I have a 997 TT manual with a TechArt exhaust and average about 19l/100km mainly enthusiastic suburbia driving which seemed touch on the heavy side.... Any feedback from otehrs?
  10. Lucky you, I had to pay the full price on mine but well worth the expense. It does make the car feel more snappy and I looooove that sound cheers Francois
  11. They look very similar to the TechArt I jiust had fitted with the new exhaust... Much nicer than the standard item
  12. I had the Porsche i-pod fitted last month and not very happy with it. Looking for alternatives but from what I read the Dension Gateway 500 seems the best option. How much to you pay for it fitted on the other side of the pond?
  13. Had the TEchArt sport exhaust fitted last month, great sound... Remus think is French manufacturer, well know for their bike exhaist also
  14. Lucky you, looks absolutely georgeous... let us know your impressions
  15. Thanks Loren, had already dowloaded the maintainance schedule which recommends after 2 years or 20,000 km. Was wondering if it was better to do it sooner than the recommendation...
