  3. Guys, If I wanted to replace my 2.7 engine in my 2002, what engine model years are a direct swap? Could I use a 2.7 that came out of a 2005 987 without having to make a bunch of changes? The goal is to remove the old motor and simply bolt/plug in the new one. Thanks for any help you can provide, -Colin
  4. Gus, I think a signal orange 997 would be hot hOT HOT! not sure what you would do on the interior - Black or grey with Matching SIGNAL ORANGE leather accents maybe? I think it would be very unique in any case. I'd like to see a special edition 997 with the baby blue /orange gulf colors. That would be hot too! Let us know what you do, -Colin Or maybe Tangerine:
  5. Dude.... My .02 Theyre both hosed. Ship the junkyard one back and get a refund/non-cracked replacement. As for "How Hosed are you" - I would drive it only to the shop to get it fixed and no more. If it breaks completely it could be dangerous and certainly would cost you a lot more to fix. Peace of mind is priceless. -C
