  1. Hate to bump any old thread, any idea what is the difference between the 03 and 04 cap? I have mine replaced with an 03 about 2-3 years ago but not sure if I should buy the 04. Thank you!
  2. A bit steep for a gas cap, plastic or aluminum. Who's else is going to see it but yourself?
  3. I'd get the GT3 brake ducts for $30 if you hadn't have them on the car already. Gives much needed cooling which is essential for effective braking. Stock brakes are very good already but a lot of people recommend swapping out the pads for race pads if that's what you'll be doing. Porsche sells factory sport pads which is a good compromise for light track/street but they only fit the S brakes. Don't get cross-drilled. Slotted is great for track but will accelerate pad wear. I'd suggest just stick with stock rotors unless you're planning to do a S caliper conversion then you're open with more option such as the PFC 2-piece dimpled rotors.

  5. The holes are pretty but rotors with no holes are better. The rotors with holes will eventually show hairline cracks and you'll have to replace them before they're worn down to minimum thickness. Not to mention the extra brake dust you need to deal with.
  6. Porsche or Brembo will not sell you the inner seals. Zeckhausen sells the complete kit or you can just get the inner seals from them. Shipping is quick and price is reasonable. You need 40 & 36mm for the front and 30 & 28mm for the rear. http://www.zeckhausen.com/

  8. Gummi Pflege is great. BMW no longer carries it (at least from the dealers I've been to in Toronto). It's readily available on ebay.
  9. Stick with 255, you always want as much rubber on the ground as you can for the back. Don't think 235/45/17 is a common size either. Don't think you want those crappy Dunlops. I heard good things here on the Eagle F1 GS-D3.

  12. Bravo! For every IMS car there has to be at least a dozen other cars that are trouble-free. I'll reference this post every time someone gets paranoid about driving their Box.
  13. Crazyness. I've never even removed the "tool" from the toolkit. Just a 5mm socket.
