  2. I have a 1999 Carrera and recently replaced the headlights to a "Euro Effects 8000K Platinum Series Bulb" that has a draw of 55 W and output of 125 Watt. I've read the manual and it says to replace with bulbs with the same wattage, which I did. I was wondering if the 125 watt ouput would melt the housing at all. This is my first post (of many newbie questions) so sorry if this was already discussed before. Thanks for your help in advance. KrinDot
