  1. Hello all, Update: I replaced all plugs and coils this morning, And she runs like a Porsche again, great news, Thank you Loren, like always fast and great help, all I need is to reset the fault codes, Thanks, Again
  2. Hi Loren, I will get the fault codes first, and also replace the right side, plugs and coils, Thank you, Michael
  3. Hello Lauren, Sorry, I don't have access to get the codes, and could not get an appointment at the dealer, plus I am afraid to drive to the dealer, catalytic, can any decent shop read the codes? Thanks, Michael
  4. I have a 2003, C 4 S with 50 k, One cylinder started miss firing, replaced the coils and plugs on the left side so far, but still have the same issue, do I need to replace all 6 of them in order to remove the issue, the coils where cracked, easy to see. Could I have damaged the catalytic converter, but drove only 5 - 10 miles, and should not effect the miss firing? Any help and ideas would be great, Thanks, Michael
  5. Hi again, no need to drop the motor, its a 4 - 6 hour job for the first time, I will do mine over Christmas, and post the result after, no special tools needed except a torx bit for inside and outside ( drive shaft) if yours is a 4 S, a guide pin is helpful to center the clutch, I purchased all parts from Germany, total $ 800 CDN. Take care,
  6. Hi there, Did you have the clutch installed already? I have the same problem, 03 4S with 75k on it. Just so you know this is a standard problem, the motor seal to the dry clutch starts leaking and the oil gums up the clutch. My brother in Germany had the same problem and Porsche does the entire work for free, not over here. Porsche went to a better seal in 2007, this one will last.
  7. Hi there, My car was stored for the winter and the battery dead, after charging evrything is ok, but the passenger window does not work, Could someone help me with this? It's a 03 Carrera 4 S, Do I need to replace the motor, I can hear a click when I push the switch, also checked all the fuses? Thanks a lot, Michael
  8. Hi Alex, Thank you very much for the info, I will give it a try right now, Thanks again, Michael
  9. Maybe someone can help me? I have a Carrera 4 S, and the battery died, finally got the trunk open and have the trickle charger, should have bought one earlier. Now, everything seams to work fine, except the passenger power window? Can someone tell me what fuses to check first? The paper at the fuse panel cover is missing, Thanks for any info, Michael
