    <_< Hi all just changed gearbox on 1998 c2 cab as my old was faulty in second gear managed to find second hand i think out of 2001 c2. all fits ok but selector cables have different size ends (that clips on to gearbox selector shafts) new gear box has smaller size round male ends. has any one had same problem ? do i just get new cables ? Thanks Darren P.s i have cable tied them on and box changes and runs fine...

    yeh i understand this after ringing round. is a boxter year 2001 likely to have the same gearbox (or second gear syncro) Thanks again Darren

    :jump: Hi all i have had problems with my gearbox selecting second so decided to remove and examine, found second gear syncro and hub damaged !! can someone please advise where i can obtain parts or exchange please as the sun will be shining soon and ill be stuck indoors !!! Thanks Darren..

    Hi all my 1998 carrera 2 the fun comes on when engine gets to around 90 degrees (normal) but it is very load and only come,s on for about 5 sec then go,off again. looking at wiring diagram it looks like there is a three speed fan is this right ? and should it go to speed one first ? Thanks darren :thumbup:

    hi thanks Lorens i have checked this plug it was corroded but i have cleaned it and checked it i will prop remove and solder connections soon as this prop is driving me mad now (Ha Ha ) :help: is there any more connections as looking on Wiring diagram it looks like there is one somewhere. if i unplug this plug light goes out until i reach 70 mph Thanks darren

    :drive: Hi all 996 1998 cab rear spoiler proplem. warning light is always on spoiler goes up at around 70 mph but does not go down unless i use button in foot well. i have change rear spoiler complete. with secound hand. changed relays and cleaned and checked Contact (plug) in boot !!! i have looked at wiring diagram and found it is controlled by dash. i have checked dash gets up and down signal from spoiler (when up its says up ect) if i put live feed to signal from dash plug it will raise or lower spoiler any ideas please. is there any more plugs to check ??
