  1. I have a similar but different problem in that my fans blow air, but the passenger side is cold air and the drivers is hot air, when both zones are set to hot. It is intermittent in that it wil eventually revert back to both blowing hot air after a few days of not changing the setting, but if I change the temp to cold for any length of time, then the problem comes back. Where are the servo motors that switch the hot and cold air flow located. Can any one give me some advice? Is it strictly a dealership repair?
  2. Thanks for your informative reply Dennis C. Can you tell me whats involved with this upgrade. What else do you need to replace. ie amp, etc. Is it an involved process?
  3. Happened to come across this link for an aftermarket head unit. Has anyone seen these before. Are they an option for older cayennes? http://www.aliexpress.com/product-gs/362892539-7-Inch-Car-DVD-Player-For-Porsch-Cayenne-With-GPS-Free-2GB-Card-with-Map-Free-wholesalers.html I am interested to see what your thoughts are on this and what pittfalls there would be? I suspect the Bose amp would have to go and a rewire for the speakers, but I am not an expert on electronics so would welcome everyones comments.
  4. I had the same problem. To open the lglovebox, I found you need to insert a small screwdriver in the large hole at a 45 degree angle down and to the left in my case (RHD vehicle). The shaft needs to go in about an inch and when it lodges in a v type shape just push forward (into the dash) and this will release the latch. In my case after dissasembly of the glove box and lock, I found there is a plastic pin, in the lock mechanism, acting as a pivot point for the cam that pulls the wire cable to unlock the glovebox which had broken. I mannaged to repair it by replacing this broken pivot with a small screw and nut.
