  1. I have the iPod port in my '09 911 and it does charge the iPod. I haven't tried hooking up a device to the AUX or the USB jack, but the iPod connection works great. SB It depends on the iPod. The new 4G Nano will not charge via the iPod interface, but will charge via the USB interface. My 1G iTouch will charge via both. Apple has changed the charging scheme to save money and the new units are not the same as the older ones.
  2. I have an '05 997 that I drive year round. Get some really good snow tires for all 4 corners and just be careful. I have had no problems in the snow, just need to modulate the right foot!!!
  3. In the winter looks are not my prime concern. Nasty weather performance is the only thing I care about. The looks are a choice that you need to make based on how "funny" you think the narrower snows will look. Good Luck!!!!
  4. Check www.tirerack.com. They have an 18" solution that will work.
  5. They are an independent testing and certification organization similar to UL and CSA. Check them out at this link http://www.de.tuv.com/en/index.php
  6. The 997 ships from the port with only 1 sticker. This goes in the service book. If you need/want one for under the hood, get your dealer to order one from PCNA for you. Mine actually shipped with a Canadian book set. The dealer ordered a new book set and 2 stickers, one for the service book and one to do with as I please.
