  1. What do you need to replace the engine mounts? I am going through the same "maintenance" on my 06 C4S and am looking at all perishable parts.... Thanks, Jon
  2. Sounds like something is legitimately failing and drawing high current to blow the fuse. What other errors are coming up?
  3. Quick follow up in case anyone else experiences this. You have to have the car running when executing the durametric HVAC test sequence. Once I did this, the flashing went away.
  4. Hello - I just noticed that after diagnosing an A/C issue in my car and running a system test on Durametric Pro, my climate control screen (all numbers and graphics) flash 9 times. The unit is functioning correctly otherwise. How do I stop the screen from flashing? Thanks, Jon
  5. Thanks again. And I did confirm that it slides off to the right. See photos attached for those trying to figure out the same thing. With it removed and showing slotted clips. It's also keyed so it only fits one way. Jon
  6. Thanks JFP. I discovered that this may be unique to cabs (and targas). I have a cab. And the eyelet is to secure the wind deflector when not in use. The eyelet is supposed to slide to the right with some force to remove it. I have not tried it yet. Found it here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/925348-how-do-you-remove-the-luggage-eyelet.html Which links to here: https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/856811-does-anyone-know-what-this-trim-piece-is-called-and-where-i-can-find-a-replacement.html Gonna try to remove it again later today and will report back for thoroughness. Cheers, Jon
  7. Thanks JFP. That's my issue... I can't get the plastic off to get to those parts. There are a handful of philips screws... and then the odd "clip" in the photo attached. How do I get that off?
  8. Hey, I have a 06 C4S and have a faulty fuel sender.... need to access and some info says its under battery but believe its under the plastic panel ahead of battery in front trunk. I can see a bunch of philips screws and an odd ~ 1"x2" bracket to secure something but am unsure how to remove this. The plastic panel to access fuel pump housing is not accessible without removing this and I don't want to force it out unless I know how it removes... Any suggestions? Thanks, Jon
  9. My 06 Cayenne S has blue-ish 5W bulbs in the headlights.... one is burnt. All the autoparts places say p/n 2825 which is a clear bulb but I have yet to find the same blue bulb. Any ideas? I found a Victor 194B but the blue color is much darker blue. When my one is lit, it is more of a Xenon blue-ish color. Thanks Jon
  10. Hello, I have a unique opportunity to purchase a "new" 04 Cayenne S. It has everything I want as far as options except it does not have PCM. I have done a minimal amount of searching on retrofitting the PCM and know that it is possible although, I don't think I have seen any success stories. I also understand that it is very expensive however, the deal I am getting on the new one could pay for the upgrade. How can I look at the actual TSB listed on this board that describes installing the PCM? Thanks, Jon
