  1. Stick a screwdriver under the edge and pry it off. Very simple.
  2. I mounted mine up where the factory GPS antenna goes - in front of the alarm sensor and light. Pretty easy really, but you do have to cut plastic a bit to fit the wire in there (not too bad, I used a hacksaw blade in my hand). You can easily route the wire down to the back of the radio.
  3. Perhaps then, it doesn't actually support this feature.
  4. I'd suggest reading the manual that came with your JVC unit, or contacting their support group. I could tell you how to do it with my Kenwood, but I doubt that'd be of use to you :)
  5. Really depends on the head unit you want. You could spend $50, could spend $3000. Up to you. I did the Kenwood DNX-7140 install myself, finished it up this past weekend. I just wish it wouldn't lock up when I plug my phone into the USB... details...
  6. The Interior mirror was $150 The External mirror kit was $235 The wireing harness.... Porsche want $309 for it. Have you a part number for the interior mirror? I'll order one today, I really miss the auto-dim from my Audi S4. Thanks!
  7. I've done a bit of research since I first posted, found all the info I've needed, I just didn't know that the Bose amp took speaker-level inputs. My plan is to add the four missing pins to the harness from Euro Motor Speed, I've already been in contact with trieullionaire about it. Thanks everyone for confirmation I'm on the right track :)
  8. Hi, That's because the Bose amp takes speaker level inputs, instead of the more common way, i.e., line level inputs. If you want to install a new head unit, you can either use the Bose amp by feeding it with speaker level outs of the new head unit (easier way) or remove the Bose amp and feed the speakers directly with your new head unit. Interesting, the kit I got did not include enough pins on the harness connectors to connect these inputs. I'll contact them and see if they can provide the extra wires. Thanks for the info!
  9. Hi, I just pulled my stock CCR220 from my 996 Carrera, and my car's yellow audio line out connector doesn't seem to have any pins on it other than the one to switch the factory amp on.... Suggestions? I'm sure I could wire the speakers individually, but the kit I got from euromotorspeed did not have all of the wires for this connection. My car does NOT have MOST, but there is an amp in the luggage compartment, and all of the speakers are labeled Bose, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't have these wires.
  10. 2002 C4S, bought it two weeks ago, 36k miles, no real problems. PO replaced the cats, that's all.
