I do not have any pics as I bought the car used with 19" Champion Motorsport Wheels. I want to go back to stock 18"s and it seems that the car came stock with Hollow Twist wheels which I'm trying to source but want to confirm that they are the right wheels! Thanks

Loren this may sound like a stupid question. I found the TSB but cant open and read the procedure! -
I going to attack the clutch on my 2003 996 this weekend. I have a slight vibration in the clutch pedal. With gearbox out and clutch and pressure plate removed how do I know if the fly wheel requires replacing??? Thanks for advice.

Ive got itchy feet again!!! Im thinking of selling my 2003 996 not because anything is wrong, Im just bored and buying a 2006 997s model. But then I came across a 2007 BMW M6 for less money and now I dont know what to do. Anyone have any advise or experience as to which would be the best purchase. Cost of ownership, mechanical problems, service, tires maintance, potential resale value in 2 years etc etc etc. Looking forward to opinions and advice. Thanks

Hi all I have had the joy of driving my c2 996 for aprox 7 months and i truly love this car, can`t wait till I can afford a 997. I was pulling out of a parking space last week and drove less than 20 feet and hit a concret light post that I did not see. I had to be doing less than 5mph. It felt like tha car had been hit with a bom as the airgags deployed. As a result the drivers airbag blew my hand off steering wheel and my hand smashed the windscreen. My hand is in agony and my forearm is all burnt by the airbag. I got out of tha car not knowing what happned, thinking the car was totaled only to find the front bumper slightly damaged. The car is in the body shop and I will have an estimats next week. My concern is that the airbags should not have deployed. Surley there is a minimum speed you must reach before they deploy. As it turned out they have caused me more medical problems and I would rather they did not deploy! Looking forward to everyones thoughts and if I should have the local dealership check the airbag system?

outside temp sensor

where is the outside temp sensor located. yesterday it was 90 deg in Los Angeles and it was reading 135 deg. and the display said theat there was an outside temp error. i guess i need a new one. any one else have the same problems, it always read about 10 deg high. oh i have a 2003 c2. thanks in advance for all your advise.

im really concerened after reading this. i reciently purchased a used 2003 c2 with 42,000 miles. i checked the oil level when purchased was full and clean. the last oil change was at posche dealer at 40,000 miles. i checked the oil level today and was at min mark with 42,700 miles. what is AOS? i checked the glossary. it seems that a few other people have a simular problem, surley it is not the motor!!! i also notised the left exhaust is a little blacker and damp when compaired to the right exhaust. thanks for any advise in advance!
