Cayennenegro, I would appreciate getting the link. I have an 08 CTT due to arrive any day and a Gateway 500 ready to install. Thanks for sharing.

Has anyone tried one of these either on a 996, or 997? I am looking for any feedback, on sound, performance gain etc. Thanks
Yes I just installed a few weeks ago...you hear the difference in sound...much deeper....sound nice...as for power gain...uh not sure cant feel any difference but they claim 10hp +/- ..... But now EVO has a system out for a few hundred more...with same claims...so im not sure about their product...maybe better... I would wait till someone installs one in their car...as for fabspeed's I love it!

Hello all. I am a newbie on here.
My question is:-
Has anyone figured out a way to de-activate the seatbelt chimes?
Best,
Nick
997 C2s, Black, sport design wheels, UK
yes!!!
i did it as soon as i pulled out of dealer...run your seat belt behind your seat and plug it in...or but a seat belt plug in thing from dealer....there you go!

If you have PASM then changing springs would also likely include changing the PASM programming. The PASM chassis is already 0.40 inches lower and programming adjusts the shock stiffness based on Normal or Sport setting.
If you have the Sport Chrono package it will adjust the accelerator response, high speed cut off, PSM and PASM. All the triggering levels for PSM and PASM are lowered for optimum response to steering and handling changes.
The 997 RoW springs are different than the US so that might be a good place to start. Perhaps with 997 RoW springs and a changing a PASM setting with a PIWIS tester??
no chrono...but thanks for advice

Anyone out there know when the 997 4S models will be coming out and available for US ordering? I can't seem to find any credible press releases on the net.
Question 2: for present Carrera4 owners in the North...I live in Boston and am considering either the Cayenne Turbo or a 4S 997 (when it comes out)...for those of us with one car spot (my wife has our other garage spot) do you think I could survive year round with a 4S? I presently have an Audi TT which does just fine in the winter (rarely, I require my wife's Subaru...which is snow stellar).
GO PATS!
Hey nice to see a local...im from Watertown MA....good game last sunday....well to answer you question if we have a big storm which we have maybe 2 or 3 a season you have to wait a couple of days before you go out with the C4S...but after that its all good...but i would drive a porsche in the snow...too bad you cant get another spot near bye.... :(
