  1. Hi I have a 99 C2 and have searched this forum and the DIY's for a solution to this problem. I was wondering if anyone has a DIY for this code step by step. I could really use a step by step just for exact diagnosis since I see it could be 1 of 3 things. Thanks!!
  2. Ok but would anyone suggest 285's? is it even possible? im sorry, im pretty new to this whole scene and just want to make the best choice.
  3. I made a typo. The rears are 19x11, Are 285's unrealistic and not wide enough?
  4. Yea someone else told me that as well. I have no idea how a TSB works with a 99 Carrera. Is it too late to do anything? The car has 85k on it. Thanks again Loren as always Loren, kind of a dumb question but going from a 295 to 285 is not going to make the tire "stick out" any less correct? Thats based on the offset of the wheel, correcT?
  5. I have a 99 C2 with 19inch I-Forged Daytona's on it. The rears are 19x9. I currently run 295-30-19 in the rear but had a scraping problem. The car is also lowered with H&R springs (1.25 drop). The problem is the car will "bottom out" and the tires scrape inside the inner fender and cut into the sidewall of the tires. I was wondering if a 285 tire would help with this problem. I am in need of new tires and want to make the best choice, all opinions welcome. Thanks guys
  6. I have a 1999 Carrera 2 and was wondering if a 2001 Turbo rear bumper would fit on my car? Something I probably should know but am fairly new to this whole scene. Thanks guys
  7. I had the same issue and my window stopped working. Someone told me that if it was the regulator the window would move with your hand pulling on it up or pushing it down. I have already started a thread about my driver window so any help would be great!
  8. So no one has any insight to this? I had a mechanic locally say that the window might be off track. Please someone help its FREEZING here!!
  9. OK, I just replaced the window and motor (I found a great deal on both). It was working fine and now the window will not move. I can hear the motor trying to go and the window is in place firm (I can't move it with my hand). I am wondering if it is a possible fuse? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I do not have my manual and am having a hard time finding the fuse location of the driver widow. A quick response is needed PLEASE, I am in 30degree weather in NY with a window halfway down!!
  10. OK I have my wheels on eBay. I just recently looked at the back of the wheels and the rears have 2 part numbers (A,B) and 2 possible widths (9,10) How do I know which ones they are? Thanks guys http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...=STRK:MESELX:IT
  11. Thanks guys, I have mine forsale and am pretty sure the fronts are 44mm but not sure of the rear. Thanks
