  1. Hi Guys.....Need code for radio....Thanks Paul. Becker 1 Type 4462 Serial # Y5043547 24/99 cd cdp2081 Bought it about a year ago......no radio code card. 2000 BoxsterS
  2. Cannot find any Cracked coil or plug......is it possible that the on board computer has been shorted out? If so can it be reprogramed....I thought if you unplugged the MAF it should run better? Thank for any help...Paul. As RFM said the MAF has nothing to do with a misfire on one cylinder. A bad DME would not run at all (in most cases) and throw many spurious errors. I suggest you swap the spark plug to the next cylinder and see if the fault follows it. If it does you know where your problem is. If it does not, then swap the coil pack to the next cylinder and again see if it follows the part. Hi Loren....Have given up, The car is currently at the local garage that works with import cars.....Had to be to towed. When the car started and you where able to keep it going the exahast pipes where glowing red after 5 min. Will keep you posted the guy has had it for a day now ....thanks Paul.

  4. Changed it back still runs the same..... The old MAF , I had taken it out a couple times this season to clean it with MAF cleaner... The last time I cleaned it was with the help of a clean Qtip. When I put the old MAF back in it ran very rough and backfired, so I thought that I ruined it . so off to the dealer and picked up a new one....whitch was the 125.01 mod. After pluging it in it produced the same results as the older one. 125.00 I am wondering if I may have messed up the wires in the connection harness? or if the computer needs to be reprogamed? Just out in the garage it starts the same, rough idle, will stall without extra gas, but above 3,000rpm runs fine. I have tried upluging the harness and ran it with the MAF unpluged and it just about is the same results.....Should I maybe cut the plug off and rewire a new plug?......Thanks for any help....Paul Full Edit Quick Edit
