  1. I just pick one up, reset it, put on 800 miles, average 13.8 currently. Love it but if fuel economy is a concern this is definitly not the car. No matter how nice you try to drive, this thing pulls.
  2. I just picked up a 06 TTS :D and you would be crazy to go with the '08 S (my 2 cents). Put 800 miles on it, and took notes. I dropped it off at the dealer today (still have warrenty). What I noticed so far: Panaramic roof, does not close from time to time. Park assist goes off at front passenger side on complete stop, no one around. Once warmed up (i believe its the motor) the car shakes (found TSB S-2445 if anyone can explain this TSB that would be great). Tiptronic shifting from steering wheel is slow to respond (have a feeling this is normal, shifter is fine). Creaking noise in the hatch area while driving (have a feeling this is the vertical screen twisting). When first starting the car shifting from 2nd gear (when in automatic) it will not upshift for a longgg time to 3rd, seems it thinks i want to race (I do!, but not all the time), later on its fine.
  3. I am attaching a picture of what the seller showed me, seems to be a pin (one pin) style, just like the badge on the front of the car (2 pins)? So I am wondering does the airbag have to come off? and if so is there a way into that area to disassemble and put this new one in? Or is there really no pin in the original badge for the air bag, and this pin need to be removed and just adhesive added?
  4. I just want to make sure it would not some how activate the airbag or something... If its glue I know some of the best stuff on earth.
  5. WOW, many thanks for the detail. I will make sure not to brake it :)
  6. Awesome thanks Loren, Silly question, sun sensor for what (rear view mirror)?
  7. Sure, got the pictures of it now. :D Attached, many thanks!
  8. I was wondering if anyone knows how the small porsche crest is mounted to the airbag? :wrench: I would like to replace it with a aftermarket silver crest to match the one on the hood. If anyone has done this and can share, it would be most appreciated. The car (mine) i would like to do this on is a 2006 Cayenne Turbo.
  9. joshdunn87, do you have a video of the sound of you car with the tech art exhaust (they have 2 model, which did you get?). I am interest in their exchaust, but do not want any extra cabin noice, nor turn the heads of police... sitting at a corner
  10. Hello, hope this is the right area to post this question, I have an '06 Cayenne TTS, the rear valance is quite short and does not cover the exhaust. I noticed the '08+ Turbo rear valance is nice and would do the trick. I was wonder if anyone has performed this? I do not want to change the wholde rear bumber assembly, my understanding is just like the front, the rear is two part, not sure if the rear valance on a '08+ Turbo would match up with the '06 bumper?, any hardware needed too pull it off etc...? If you have anything you can share that would be great.
  11. Loren, Would you have the display sheet that has the p/n - name to the park assist console?
  12. Hey Lorne, many thanks, the guys out at Suncoast called me back last night and were able to pull the exact pieces I need. Again, many thanks for reaching out to help me!!! They were #18 & #22 if the am reading the picture you attached correctly. I have the ones that are painted to a silver/aluminum look.
  13. Hi, Looks like someone slim jimmed the passanger front door and ruined the silver/aluminum trim around the top of the door and pillar( that is between the front and rear passagner door), as well as the outer weather stripping. Does anyone have the part numbers for these items. And what would the difficulty level be to try and replace myself? This is for my '06 Cayenne TTS (marine blue/ aluminum colored trim). Happen to the previous owner, I would like this fixed asap.
  14. Hello to all, Question/s, what is the black sensor looking thing at the back of the parking assist hump/console on the center of the dashboard up against the windshield? How do you go about removing/ taking apart that parking assist hump/console, looking to create a new one to hold some additional to the parking assit LED/Lights. This is in reference to my '06 Cayenne TTS
