  1. RUF, do not have Rturbo tail as standard offer on their Online-shop, probably because the tail isn't a mass production part, and cost you a fortune. but I'm still curious how much they would charge for that thing though! cheers, Tony
  2. quote from Michael Shaw: "The wing blade is in the up position. You could make it lower manually, by removing the cylinders." cheers, Tony
  3. hey Jim, do you know how much they charge for the funtioning Wing? cause on their web page posted TT Wing for $1575,- for the stiff Wing blade. cheers, Tony
  4. hey Arthur, just stumbled over this, might be an option for your question of Sport seat conversion. LLTEK is the company which offering this. cheers, Tony
  5. hey Jim, unfortunatly not and here is why, more info about that cheers, Tony
  6. hey J.Seven, 1st congrats, 2nd take a look under your hood, on the sticker you will find the recommended values. but they are only recommendations and you have to try it out (+/- pressure) for your self, what's best for you. there is also different from brand to brand, e.g. for Dunlop SP9090, I had to use 0,2bar (cold) over the recommendation. try it out, doesn't cost anything! cheers, Tony
  7. hey Rob, wow, great value 5,02sec and on the spec. 5,2sec, is that a avereage results or the best value? the great performance done thanks to the PSE and BMC or have you done something more boost in your racer? cheers, Tony
  8. propably to please the customer, and they given you the possibility to choose your favorits tire brands. and here in Germany, they have limit now down to 2 brands, Michelin and Pirelli in Tequipment, before you could even choose Conti. Pirelli is sponsering the GTP-series now days and they can really supply you a set of tires for a good money  my favorit is actually Pirelli, PZero Rosso N4, great performance on both dry and wet roads and still giving you a great comfort and not that noisy. btw: Conti SC N2 is also not that bad, great performance but to noisy with 50% rubber left! cheers, Tony
  9. hey Brian, I've never mentioned "power" but I got the feeling that my car stays more stable on the road with a bit wider axel with the spacers. cheers, Tony
  10. Scouser, I don't know if the ride heights are good or bad, but I just need to find out if theese results are the standard values for the RoW 030 w/ original springs. WOW, do you really driving with 2 different brands/tire profile on yours!?! we are not even allowed to drive mixed Michelin Pilot Sport N0 + N1 here in Germany! btw, I didn't know that Goodyear F1 tires are approved by Porsche? cheers, Tony
  11. thx Arthur, I found this on that site: quote from karlooz: "front - 646mm/25.4" - 225/40-18 conti sport contact 2 97.5% tread left rear - 654mm/25.75" - 265/35-18 conti sport contact 2 95% tread left H&R sport springs w/ stock shocks" I got almost identical values on my RoW 030 as karlooz C2 w/ H&R springs! Is that possible that 030 suspension +/- value differe that much to the value of -10mm? cheers, Tony
  12. here is propably another reason why the big differences in handling: C4 Cab: 1510kg (DIN) BoxsterS: 1320kg (DIN) I added on my C2 cab, spacers from TechArt, Front:2x15mm and Back:2x18mm, and I surely feel a different on the straight. thinking even to get the Turbo II rims from the Turbo 996 w/ 11-inch at the back to test if I get more stability, any experience on that? cheers, Tony
  13. hey Loren, what do they mean by "From wheel contact surface to the locating bore in the rear-axle side section", where is, do you have a pic to make it clearer for me? KarlS, you are right about make-over from Carrera to a GT3, for us here in Germany, you could get a decent GT3 (360PS) for about 60k so it doesn't make any point for that. but in my case I would like to get a harder ride in high-speed curves and you could do that with progressive springs e.g. H&R & co. or full justable suspension e.g. PSS9. > most of the progtessive spring will propably be to low for me, -30mm > justable suspension will give me what I want all-around -20mm but of course, H&R spring compares to the PSS9 in cost, hmmm.... you figure it out if it really worth, so if can get a set of used suspension from the GT3 would propable be reasonable solution, point of cost I mean? cheers, Tony
  14. hey Scouser, yeah, I mean the wheelarch! take a ruler, from the ground, line-up with the center cap, and read-out at the wheelarch, what do you get? btw: Arthur, couldn't open the link! cheers, Tony
  15. hey there, those who got RoW 030, could you tell me the ride high of your suspension setting? the meassurement, ground to the beginning of the wheelhouse. I got the following setup, Front: 65,8cm and Back: 65,3cm. Why this question, because Xeno, told me a different ride high on his 030 suspension setting. cheers, Tony
  16. hey Loren, are the suspension on GT3 the same as X74 for Carrera? and compare X74 to the PSS9, what are the main differents? cheers, Tony
  17. is that possible? if possible, any problem in combination with the standard C2 sway-bars? cheers, Tony
  18. hey Jeff, I totally agree with you! cause the cables are wires so this means I can only pull a wire and not push a wire, that means you have to have two cables for pulling each other back and forth. or am I in deep water here? btw: I don't have the green cover on my MY00 C2 cab either.
  19. thx guys, but got a bit confuse now, cause Loren mentioned Black and dj mentioned Blue, so could we somehow come to one common color? ok, my problem is not really getting in the gear but when I shift from 2nd > 3rd gear, few time I got stuck cause the shifter seems not to be 100% centered and therefor couldn't directly getting into the 3rd gear, stuck a bit left to the 3rd gear! yes, sound odd but that's the best I can describe the situation, so what I need is to put the shifter a bit to the right, much apreciate for your suggestion! cheers, Tony
  20. hey dj, if I need to adjust the shifter to get a bit to the right, do I adjust (tighten) the blue or black cable? cheers, Tony
  21. hi Oalvarez, check this out: short-shifter I put the adjustment screw and nut in the front like Rob_in_WA, I would believe there is more space for adjustment when needed in the front. btw. I haven't seen any suggestion of the installs about putting any Loctite on the screw. I have a question to anyone out there, I have some time trouble to put in the third gear, seems the shifter not to be 100% centered!?! does anyone how to center that thing or is it do like that at the beginning and get better by the time? cheers, Tony
  22. hey keoni, I :drive: at the same day, and they are still there today :D it's only adhensive folie, not like the 1st generation that they need to glue them to the car. cheers, Tony
