  2. Hi Guys my C4S coolant temp light was flashing, temp didnt go up,i picked up the pink porsche coolant and with 50/50 distilled water i topped it off, took a little over a quart, surprised it was that low, dont see any leaks or signs of intermix, can coolant level go down over time?,how can you know if there is air in there,i have read that it is hard to bleed these Thanks in advance Albert

  4. Hi guys i posted a while back about this, have a 2003 C4S 27000 miles,im the 2nd owner, clean fax nice car, had(still have) a noise that seems to be coming from the front left wheel area and changes with road surface, its been to a porsche dealer and 2 indy shops, porsche dealer thought it was wheel bearing, changed both sides and still have noise, they said it was normal road noise, one indy said it was road noise, the other indy said something is causing the noise but cant see anything,he also said it may be the axle or front diff but wont know for sure unless he takes it apart, have also changed tires have Sumitomo's,no change in noise, new rotors and pads(it did need them anyway,no change, new front diff oil still no change,i dont believe this is road noise, getting pretty fustrated, what do i have to do to find the problem, any input please Thanks Albert
  5. 15. 2003 C4S 1 owner,no accidents,25000 miles posted on this a while back, have a noise when driving coming from the drivers front wheel area, sounds like a coffe pot perking fast, cahanged tires, wheel bearings, front diff oil, check the whole front end, nothing loose, the noise is less when i go from a rougher road to a smooth road but still there, please any ideas this is driving me crazy and tough on the pocket
  16. have a 03 C4S,the brakes sound a little louder than they should be,they still have pad left, also my rear rotors are pitted(dont know if thats part of the problem) but the front are not pitted and they are also loud, what are the best pads to use?,should i replace the rear pitted rotors, Thanks Albert
  17. Hey guys just put a hardtop on my 99 C2 Cab,i was told there are no wires for the rear defogger and that the contacts were built in the 2 rear bolts that hold the top,i do have the button on the dash and it does light up when i put it on but it doesnt seem like the defogger is working, any ideas Thanks Albert
  18. have a 1999 C2 Cab ,27000 miles,if the car sits a few days without starting, when i start it i get some white smoke,it disappears in 10 seconds then no smoke at all while driving or idle,is this normal or problem?? Thanks in Advance Albert
  19. have a 2003 C4S which front differential oil should i use to top off if its low Thanks in advance Albert
  20. its hard to tell without hearing it yourself but it may be a similar noise,i discribe mine as a coffee pot perking fast at the end of the perk,it does get quieter or louder with different road surface, dont hear it as much when i gas it because of the engine roar,i too changed 2 front wheel bearing and got new tires and the noise is still there,im wondering if it has anything to do with front differencial oil low or need to be changed, like i said i had 2 porsche guys check it and they say its normal(i disagree),please keep me informed if you get any soulutions on your end and i will do the same Thanks Albert
  21. i put a set of Sumitomo HTR 111,noise is the same, think it has anything to do with front differencial oil?
