  1. Hi, Yes I did. It was actually the front differential which needed to be replaced. Strange that it sounded like the noise were coming from the rear, when it really was coming from the front.
  2. Hi, I just noticed a rattling noise from the transmission of my 2003 C4S with tiptronic transmission. It seems like it appears only when in third gear, or shifting up/down to/from third gear. Two months back, on trackday I experienced my transmission was stuck in neutral while I had the gear lever in drive. I shut off the engine and started it again, and the problem was gone. Can these two problems be related? Or have anyone experienced the same problem? Thanks in advance.
  3. Hi. Have anyone installed the SpeedArt powerkit? I've been considering to install sport exhaust on my C4S for a while, and have now orderd SpeedArt Exhaust. The top right side at the picture. It's also a video of it, and they said that the sound would be almost similar to the video. What do you guys think? Click here for video!
  4. Hi. Do anyone know if there has been produced led tail lights for C4S? I've only seen the ones for carrera without the wide body. If they are, please add were to find them. Thanks in advance.
  5. Hi. Today i was parking my car, and when i put the transmission in reverse, it was still in neutral. I tried to put it in drive, and still its in neutral. When the shifter was in reverse the gear indicator is in revers and second gear at the same time, when in drive the indicator was in drive and second gear as usual. This was after driving a while, and the car felt like normal when i was driving. I stopped the car, and started it again, and then all was fine. Is this anything to worry about? It's the first time this has happend to me. The car is A C4S 2003 mod. with tiptronic transmission, done 27 000 miles.
  6. Looks great! Has anyone tried this on the C4S or the Turbo? Did you end up running the wire under the dash, or did you find a 12V source in the trunk?
  7. Hi. I have decided to buy a Porsche. I've landed on a 911 996 c4s 2002 or 2003 model. I have found one i prefer, only negative is that it has manual transmission, I was actually looking for one with automatic transmission. I've heard it's different faults with the manual transmission. Is this correct? Thanks in advance. Regards.
