  1. You are a true benefit to this forum. Thank you for your prompt assistance! Worked as expected!
  2. Loren, Greetings and thank you in advance if you can help with this code: Becker 1 (CR-220) Type 4362 #15001706 Mike
  3. I've looked everywhere, but it could be that I'm just using the wrong tags. I have a few bulbs out on my center brake light - is the R/R as easy as pulling the light assembly and swapping in new bulbs? If so, I couldn't find any reference to a specific part #. I figure I can always hit Auto Zone and get something the same size, but wanted to try it the "right" way first. Thanks.
  4. Nuts. This particular HU is new to me and the car (whoever swapped out the original didn't give it with the car). I may have to do as Loren recommended and checked the wiring, although it is plugged into the original harness. Thanks for the tips.
  5. This is probably a dumb question, but I re-installed a CR-210 (tape deck) so I could link up the CD changer. Is the radio display supposed to be backlit or not? The buttons are illuminated, but the display itself - are you supposed to be able to see it when the other instrument lights are turned on? Thanks!
  6. Hi Loren, I am re-installing a CR-210 in my '98. Model: BE 2182 Serial #:5004981 Regards, and many thanks in advance!
  7. Getting the non-smoker cubby from Suncoast. Probably a dumb question, but what do I do with the little light that formerly sat in the ashtray? I'm assuming you can't just tuck it under, as that bulb can get a bit warm. Is it as easy as cutting the wire and capping it off? Thanks, Mike
  8. Been a lurker for a short while now, but did the plunge and traded for a 1998 Boxster w/sport package on Saturday. Looks like it was well cared for, no body or mechanical issues, new top w/glass window, and only 71,000 on the clock. Anyway, there is a TechArt exhaust (at least the tail pipes). I assume any modification would be for the better, but does anyone have any general info? Everything I can find on the web seems more like an outdated advert listing prices, but not much substance. Many thanks in advance, Mike
