  1. I've got a 997.2 with PCM and iPod integration. I use an old 20gb 2nd gen iPod in the armrest, and it works great - integrates really well with the PCM. I've been using my Sony Ericsson bluetooth phone with the pcm and it works brilliantly - uploads the phonebook onto the PCM screen etc. Now thinking about getting an iPhone 3GS, and want to use just the phone functionality via bluetooth (ie still use the old ipod to drive the music in the car) - that way don't have to plug/unplug all the time. Has anyone used the iPhone via bluetooth, and how well does it integrate? (bluetooth standards seem to vary by manufacturer so I'm loath to believe the tech specs)
  2. Had my 2008 997.2 C2S PDK a year now. Awesome gearbox, both for in traffic and for on the track. Like having the best race driver shift for you - you just can't do it so well manually. Had a tiptronic loan car from porsche last year for a few weeks (pre the pdk car) - stinker of a gearbox, hated it. PDK a different kettle of fish entirely...
  3. Can't comment on PASM, but my 997 C2S Gen2 has the M/F wheel. It's great, and properly integrates to drive maps, bluetooth phone and ipod integration. incidentally, ipod works fantastically with the menu appearing on the touchscreen and driven from the wheel too; it's found a use for my 20gb 2nd gen old ipod with a battery that doesn't work - it now sits in the armrest permenantly installed and powered off the car.
  4. I've used 2 litres of oil in first 4k miles too on my C2S, rate of burn does seem to be settling down, but at £18 a litre I hope so!
