  1. Well you can:

    1. Have the top glued back to the material if not too much seperation and buy a good plastic cleaner that will take the yellow off.

    2. Go to a upholestery shop that can take off your top and sew in a new plastic rear glass - my guess the cheapest option if the top is otherwise in good shape.

    3. You can order an aftermarket top either with Glass or plastic. The attached site sells both. I think they are the only ones to have designed a glass rear for the 1999-2001 996s. http://www.gahh.com/product_info.php?cPath...roducts_id=1575

    best of luck

  2. Fabspeed cold air is not considered very good at anything except blowing your MAF. EVO is much higher quality, appears not to blow MAF. Neither will give you much horsepower but do sound great. I have the EVO. Muffler again will improve the sound and that is about it. GIAC along with the EVO and muffler will probably give you around 10 extra horsepower. Not much extra cheap horsepower to be found in the 996 and unless you put a blower on your car you are probably wasting your money but do not let that stop you I have done all this except went with another muffler. The short shift kit is great.

  3. Hi today had my 2000 996 C4 throw P1125 and P1132 while turning on the ABS and PMS lights, not at same time.

Just to make it easy here it is:

    1. P1125 and P1132 codes

    2. In 5th gear above 5000 rpm PSM and ABS lights come on, can reset but as soon as I repeat it happens again..

    3. Is this a bad MAF?

    What I have done

    1. Cleared OBD Codes

    2. Replaced MAF

Do I need to do anything else?

Sorry is on the 986 side should be a 996, not sure what I did wrong

  4. I have a 2000 C4 Cab regular suspension and I am looking at this:

    Nr. 00004450008/20

    VA: 996 333 051 13

    HA: 996 343 043 13

This includes the springs and is off of a 2001 C4 I will be picking these up with about 20000 miles on them over here in Europe and just wanted to make sure they will fit, if so about what does it cost to have them put on and I know this does not include the rear bumper stops so will I need them?

    Thanks

    Derek
