  2. :thankyou: I just returned from the Porche dealer for the P1128 engine code. They diagnosed amd replaced the MAF.... Thanks again Loren. :renntech:
  3. Thanks Loren. I have checked the oil filler cap and the obvious visible items. I 'm heading to our local Porsche dealer on Thursday for a repair of this problem. :help: I will repost on the details of what Porsche reports. Thanks much for your help.
  4. Hello everyone. I'm finally a Porsche owner afer many years of admiring the cars. I finally found a 2000 C2, 6 Speed, Aerokit, Black on Black locally. I'm learning as much as I can about the car and look forward to reading the forum.

  5. Loren - thanks for correcting my error on the fault code... it is P1128. Is there a way to clear the fault code after addressing some of the obvious. I suspect the fuel cap may not have been tightened all the way which may have caused a fuel pressure issue. After refueling and tightening the fuel cap, I plan on driving for a few more days to see if the check engine light will go out.
  6. Hi - First time posting and was doing some research on my problem for a 2000 Carrera C2. Autozone read the code as P1198:Oxygen sensing adaptation, idle range, bank 1. What is the corrective measure- replacing the O2S? What else should I consider?
