Hi evryone i have a cayenne V6 with no air suspension ... i wanted to see if anyone thinks i should put lowering springs the H&Rs in my truck.. will it be to lower for the winter and ground clerance? i have 2 sets of wheels 20s n 18s please let me know what you guys think... Also are they hard to install?
  2. Are you planning to stealth mount the main V1 control unit somehow (like shown in the Boxster DIY section)? I will have to look at the boxter DIY but in the cayenne there really is no place to stealth mount it...i would love to if you or anyone else has ideas...? Marco
  3. :jump: Hi All, Just completed the final install of my V1 and the display integrated in to the mirror, makes it much slicker and easier to use. Next step will be remote audio all being well. The full V1 display is now in the corner of the mirror and the mute button is on the back. Look in the DIY for more info Thanks Marco

Ok well routing the cablibn is quite simple to get to the pcm remvove the rear carpeted area on the hatch (INSIDE) it should pop off.. gentley pull and look for the caps that unsnap from the body off the door.....then fish the cable up to the wing of the rear hatch (spolier) there are 3 screws with caps on them gently remove them and remove the wing. fish the cable down the hatch on the left clip you should see where the exisiting cable is routed threw inside the headliner of the cayenne... from thre fish the cabling inside to the middle and back over to either the pass or driver side along the side walls of the floor up under the front seat to the console up the sidewall of the PCM and your set. GOOD LUCK :) let me knw your results and total cost thanks Marco

  10. The HIDs were aftermarket...and what a great purchase WOW !!! B) AWSOME i got them on ebay new great deal the best thing is the HID ballast fits on the inside of the cayennes headlight MARCO
  11. To answer #4 i have succesfully moded my cayenne with PCM 2 with the motorola bluetooth kit...which wokrs with the stock audio system.... read my posts or ask if you have any ??s Marco
  12. Hi all I read in my manual of my 05 Cayenne that you shouldnt let the car sit when started in the winter or in cold weather..is this true....all my other vehicles i usually let warm up in the winter before moving.... any ideas??? :cheers: Marco

Bobby, Yes i have tried this..(dont waste your time) :jump: its a big pain in the you know what...the system isnt just power and ground there is a connector taht must be plugged into the electrical system which is like i siasd not batt and ground..as far as i can tell and what i have tried cant be done....let m eknow if you get further than me :drive:

Helllo Porsche fans i have installed the moto ihf 1000 into my cayenne i have audio piped to pcm speakers in car the one issue i am having is sound comes from right pass side speakers but when i go and adjust the SOUND settings such as balence and fader i get sound on all 12 speakers (WHICH I LOVE) but the problem is when i raise the volume on the pcm puts volume back to only passenger side any ideas? thanks marco

  18. mine works nicely throught stereo with noise canceler on power leads of bluetooth kit
  19. Help installed new filter for alternator whine worked removed filter pcm now dead any ideas what to do called dealer only appointment is thursday? Checked all fuses both sides of cabin. All good power lead to PCM right into plug is GOOD !@!!! is the unit blown bad???? idk what to do.. Marco

  21. Hi all I have seen a mod of a Valentine 1 that has been modified of the LEDs for a more distinctive noticification such as instead of all red there is red orange, blue yellow for different bands. does anyone have this or know where i could inquire about it? Thanks Marco
