  4. Can anyone provide some guidance/wiring diagrams for a rear license plate lights for a my99 boxster, thank you.
  5. Hi all, How in the world does one replace the seat belt buckles?? Unfasten the module under the driver's seat but could not figure out how to unhook the wire plug from the module???? Spent 30 minutes sweating & gave up. Appreciate any help, thank you.
  6. Placed some poison underneath the Boxster and found the deceased rat on the side of the yard 2 days later. Mission complete.
  7. Update to issue: Removed engine cover to replace the TPS and the wires to the unit were chewed up by a freaking mice. Soldered all wires back together, cleared CEL, and everything is good to go. Time to set some traps in the garage. Thank you both for the assistance. This board is the best.

  9. Hi All, I have a MY99 with 40k & the CEL popped up Friday after dropping my little one @ Montessori. The car stalled on the way out of the parking lot but did not think anything about it, until I reached the red light. Car was idling rough & just stalled, started again and pushed it & works ok. But at the next red light, car stalls again. So I finally made it back home with the traffic and now it sits in the garage. My son is bummed out since ride the Boxster in the morning to school until this gets resolved. Any ideas? Did a forum search & saw a post in the 996 section a
  10. Call Factory Werks in Huntington Beach & see if they help you. Just look up on the web. I have not used them yet but will try them soon.
  11. Yes try what Loren suggested. MY99 had the same problem Friday morning. Key turns, dash lights all on, electrical system works but car would not start. So tonite I checked the clutch switch & the car started. Check it out, depress the clutch and pull out the switch with your fingers. I need to clean the switch now.
  12. Thanks for all the info & suggestions. I also heard from others that the airbag will operate with the light on. I will check on the TSB regarding the belt buckle, thanks again & happy boxstering!!!!
