  1. Hi Chris: I got my first porsche too on the same day, got the same car as yours too. what are the odds. My is classic racing green, what color is yours? Greeting from Michigan Mine is black with black interior. I have really been enjoying this car! -Chris
  2. I just got a 2009 Porsche Carrera S, and I am wanting to use bluetooth to use my phone through the car's system. I cannot seem to get it to work, and I have researched this and other forums, but the suggestions don't seem to work for me. If I initiate the connection from my iPhone4, the car will ask me to "accept". I click "accept" and then enter the bluetooth code on the car and then the phone. But, that is as far as I can get. The 2 will just not "pair". I took it to the dealer and they said that the software is all up to date. They tried turning on/off the SIM module, but this did not help. They then told me that the car is not wired for bluetooth. What??? How can this be??? The car recognizes that the phone wants to connect to it, so doesn't it have to have bluetooth? I even tried it with my Blackberry, and the car recognizes that it is a Blackberry 9000 (although it still did not pair with the car). This tells me that it must have bluetooth. Is there some other option that the car needs to be equipped with for the phone to work on it? Thanks, Chris
  3. Hey everyone, I am now the proud owner of a 2009 Carrera S. This is my first Porsche, and I found it ironic when I was writing out the check for the down payment, I realized I was buying a 911 on 9/11 (ie Sep 11th). This is a truly awesome car, and I can't believe it's mine! Chris
  4. Thanks Bill, that is helpful. I have seen a few deals at non-Porsche dealerships, but I have been reluctant due to the availability of the warranty. Chris
  5. Does selling the car to a non-Porsche dealer only void the 2 year extension covered by the CPO? The original warranty would still be in effect, right? Thanks, Chris
