  1. I have to restart mine only when there are some exceptional circumstances..maybe 1 time per 2 months. Been running for 1 year and very happy with the Bluetooth streaming from iPad and integration with my iPhone 4 as well as playing MP4 from the USB stick directly.
  2. Thanks, I will force her to live with it for a while, and we will see how it develops.. :) Today she was already out test driving a Range Rover and a Merc ML430... so its possible she will give up before it has had the time to adapt to her
  3. I found in some other forum the following suggestion for eGas adaptation : For eGas (2.24): "To perform adaptation, switch on the ignition for 1 minute (do not start the engine and do not operate the accelerator pedal), then switch off the ignition for at least 10 minutes. The throttle valve stop (close) is re-adapted". Anyone tried this? I performed the steps, but nothing seems to have happened...
  4. I have a new car and my beloved wife will start driving the Pepper Turbo while we are thinking about getting him sold. However I have one small problem.. after I have driven it for the last couple of months it seems it has become a lot more "aggressive" than it was last time she was driving it. At that time it was just back from service where they replaces the valve body on the gear box and did lots of resettings in connection with getting the "Entry and Drive" to work again. I am guessing this is related to some adaptive-ness in the ECU? Is there some way to get the car more "neutral" again without going to Porsche center?
  5. I have the Dension 500 on my Cayenne and the CD changer plugged inn still. However there is a switch included in the set which i have had installed under the steering wheel which switches the CD changer in and out of the loop. When turned off, its like the Dension was not installed in the MOST loop at all. It also has a reset button which comes in handy sometimes when you are linking bluetooth, ipads, etc to the poor little Dension box. Sometimes it becomes a little too much and it needs a little reset ;)
  6. Work completed and the water is running nicely down on the ground. Was a h... of a lot of stuff stuck in there. One thing: the photos are from a Touareg, but on my Cayenne Turbo there was a lot more tubes and cables going around inside the wheel well, so the drainage was not that easy to see unless you knew what to look for. But of course in the identical place as on the photos from wvicary.
  7. Thanks to wvicary's PDF I found it to be looking like this : and when draining : Thanks ever so much for the help!! :thankyou:
  8. Thanks! So I spent the good part of Sunday now to get the whole well liner off and have a look behind it. There are tons of tubes going around there between the wheel and the door, but nothing I could recognize as a drain.. how should it look? Is it a tube or just a hole?
  9. So I found my poor Pepper with wet pants on the drivers side, and I have read all the different "wet carpet" articles from everyone relating to both ac leaking and the drainage from the cowl boards being stuck. Since its a wonderfully warm day here in Warsaw, I decided to just do some quick testing and I soaked the front windscreen with water to see where it would go. On the drivers side.. nothing.. and on the passenger side I found it to leak down around 20cm back from the front wheel. However I poured probably 20 liters of water on the windshield and only something like 3-4 liters seemed to leak out on the passenger side. Reading other articles it seems like there is supposed to be some form of drainage on the drivers side as well... and I should stick something up the hole to check that its clear. Looking under my Pepper I can only see a few little holes, and none of them seem to be the right one. Where EXACTLY is the drainage hole supposed to be??? Here is what I see under the drivers side :
  10. Small update on the tilting.. its getting smaller... I have been driving it around carefully the last couple of days, and regulating it up and down several times. Standing in "Normal" its still 2cm higher on the one side (less than before). Double checked the tires and everything, but all seem fine. When having the firmness setting to "Sport" and driving into a right turn (so it puts pressure on the left side, which is the lower one) it feels like the left side is flexing as if i was in "Comfort" mode. I will do some more testing in "Comfort" mode to see if the difference is still noticeable. Porsche Center in Warsaw seems to be hiding from my calls now ;)
  11. If there was a leak, wouldnt the compressor keep trying to pump? The adjustment of the height is based on a physical measurement by the ride height sensors, connected to the suspension mechanically with the links. So my deduction would be that they would keep trying to get up to the same level as the others.. again and again with the compressor running hard? Mine seem to be just happy staying 3-4 cm lower no matter. I was under the car trying to see if there is any damage to the sensors or the link to the suspension on that side, but it all looks identical to on the working side..... :(
  12. Does anybody know if I can adjust the suspension calibration with the Durametric Enthusiast version?
  13. By the way, I am not hearing any extra compressor work or any "swiiiiiish" sounds from the adjustable damper. She has been standing in "Spec Terrain Level" now for a couple of hours and nothing has chanced. My Porsche dealer is all the way on the other side of Warsaw, so I am deeply hoping I wont have to go there with her...
  14. I came out to my drive way this morning, and my beloved little Pepper was tilting to one side. I left her in the "Normal" position, and she was still in that height, just 4-5 cm lower on the left side. At once I started her up and adjusted down to "Loading level", and rechecked. It was still off with 3cm. Started her up and went around the neighborhood adjusting her up and down from "Spec Terrain" to "Loading" several times. She got a little more balanced, but there is still something very wrong with her. When I am driving on "Normal" it feels just like i have a puncture on the rear left. And when I am doing a right turn, she is tilting much more than usual. So I stopped. Turned her all the way off. Started up and held the level adjustment switch back for 30 secs to turn off the PASM adjustment. I then turned off. Started again and held the level adjustment switch forward for 8 seconds to turn the PASM on again. When its activated it gave me "Air Suspension Failure. Workshop", however everything seemed to work nicely... except for the lower left side. When i restarted her, the air suspension alert went away again. Anyone have any ideas how I can get her back straight again???
  15. Just wanted to update that I finally managed to convince myself of putting the Cayenne to Porsche Warsaw for further checking and they took a couple of small checks on it and just ordered a new valve body. Its been 3 weeks now, and it all seems to be working fine. Total cost including labor was something in the area of 3000 EUR including VAT.
