  1. Peanuts, Who is DMS? And would they have anything that would help the LAG in my V6? Aaron
  2. Steve, Any word on this kit? Looks like they still haven't finished it?? I called Nick and offered my V6, but never heard back from them. Unfortunately half off the kit isn't great compensation for having my fairly expensive Porsche for 4-6 weeks. Aaron
  3. GL, I have to agree with you about their poor customer service. I get few answers, and many excuses. They even forgot to send hardware with the pipe! For those thinking about Fabspeed....well, I like the fact that I bypassed the 2nd cats, but the pipe is just a touch small, and I'm left with a noisy leak at the c-clamp which I'll have to pay a muffler guy to get rid of. I also don't like the fact that there are no mounting brackets on the bypass. I realize that the pipe doesn't weigh near as much, but I don't like the thing just swingin in the breeze, and will probably pay somone to make a custom bracket.
  4. Here's an update as of Feb. 2007. I finally got off my keister and took the car to an exhaust shop. It turns out that replacing the hanger is VERY important. Otherwise you risk damage to the (very expensive) flexible downtube connecting to the header. It took the guy about 20min. and he only charged me $50. In addition to support this also allowed the pipes to come closer together. He put a little sealant at the joint before tightening the c-clamp. Now the annoying rattle is almost completely gone. Aaron I just installed the Fabspeed 2ndary cat bypass pipe on my 2006 V6. The performance is great, but I have a nasty little rattle with hard accleration. This improves after the system warms up, but never dissappears entirely. I did notice some small exhauste leakage at the clamp. Could this be causing the noise? Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks, Medtech :cursing:
  5. I have to agree with Loren. Care Care Specialties is great. P21S and Lexol for me!!
  6. How about just puttting in an Eclipse AVN5435. You get Nav, DVD, CD, XM, and aux in. Then you can throw that P.O.S. Becker in the trash where it belongs.
  7. Actually, it turns out that the part number is, BNA-13.19. Tell them you want to hook up an iPod and they'll know what part you want.
  8. I've seen a number of CHEAP aftermarket chips that claim to give more HP by tricking the IAT sensor. I assume these things are probably no good, but I was wondering if other members have had any experience with them. What do you think? Aaron :drive:
  9. Tool Pants, That looks like it should be it!! Does the dealer carry this? Pardon my ignorance, but why does is have 3 RCAs?
  10. Does anyone know how to connect into the back of the stock radio? <_< I see the diagram with the C2 & C3 sockets for the CD changer, but it doesn't break down the individual slots. I'd like to wire a relay input from an RCA Jack. Thanks
  11. I am told by the dealer that the ballasts aren't strong enough to power HID bulbs. In order to do this you would have to use the ballast from a Litronics headlight.
