  1. Hi Everyone, I could your guidance on the proper VW wiring harness to use on my 2001 Boxster S. It currently has the Becker 220 radio/CD player. I'm looking to install the Alpine IDA-X001 head unit. I've searched this forum and found a reference to a Crutchfield harness but when I checked for "things that fit my car" on their site it returned a different harness/part number. You can see it here: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-5fjAzE9gVIr/c...i=120701784#Tab Any advice on which is best? Who am I to question the Crutchfield gods?? Many thanks, -randy
  2. Hi Guys, I'm also trying to wire a new amp (audison) in place of the original HAES 4x40W (986.645.323.00). The diagrams posted seem to describe the 20-pin connector in detail but not the smaller 18-pin that is also on the amp. Any chance someone can post this detail? It would be GREATLY appreciated!!!! I have a 2001 Boxster S. Many thanks, -randy
