  1. I live in Miami and during the summer when it is muggy I experience the same thing, condensation around the AC vents and a couple of drops on my feet. There definitely is water on the ground from the AC, I would be worried if there wasn't. Can't do anything about the humidity so I don't think it is a big deal.
  2. Brian, thanks for going through the trouble of taking pictures and providing an in-depth explanation. I also have an MY 03 just like yours and yes I interpreted the sticker to apply to that particular row. Don't you agree (at least a little bit) that it could easily be interpreted to apply just to that tire size? Once again thanks for the troubles. Raul :clapping:
  3. Thanks Loren, I did find that particular thread. I am wondering how much it will cost if I just take it to the dealer and have them install the OBC option. If it is too expensive I'll try this method, by the way a DVD is mentioned with the instructions, is that available for purchase somewhere? Thanks again.
  4. Is it possible to install the On Board Computer Option on MY '03? If so how difficult is it and which parts do I need? Thanks. :)
  5. Thanks for the response Brian. That is where the confusion originated, I checked the owner's manual and it recommended the tire pressure you listed, but when I checked the fuel door it had a column for rear tire sizes and one for front tire sizes and the only tire size that had the 29/36 psi pressures were 205/50 r17 and 225/45 r17 respectively. I guess the question is do the pressures listed apply to all the tires listed on the fuel door? Thanks, Raul
  6. In the owner's manual Porsche recommends rear and front tire pressures, do these tire pressures apply for all tire sizes? I am confused since inside the gas tank cover the tire pressure recommended is aligned with a particular tire size. Any input will be appreciated Thanks.
  7. Yup, it was that easy!! Thanks again. :clapping:
  8. Well I checked the clips attached to the roll bar again, and they are on pretty tight. However, I can hear the deflector rattling when the car is driven. Should there be a little play in the snaps? or once the deflector is snapped on it should be a tight attachment? Thanks guys.
  9. Thanks for the response. I thought I was going to have to pull the side panels on each side, etc. etc. Cheers
  10. I just purchased the Cd storage compartment kit for my '03, are there any pictures or instructions in this forum to help me remove one of the existing storage bins and replace it with the CD storage? Your help is always appreciated. Thanks
  11. I was driving on the interstate this past weekend in my '03 and noticed the the wind deflector had came loose from the bottom support. Of course I pulled over and put the top up until I got home. When I inspected the wind deflector all the parts were there, I looked for screws or something to tighten but could not find any, the supports attached to the roll bar were tightly secured. So I basically snapped the wind deflector back in place. Did I miss anything? Should I look for something else? I can't believe that the deflector is only snapped in place. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. I wonder what caused it to come loose.
  12. Steve, Thanks for the info. I stumbled across a place that has that particular machine here in Miami, do you know if that balancing is better than the so called "speed balancing"? I guess my question should be what is the difference between regular balancing and speed balancing? (This may be a stupid question). Thanks, Raul
  13. My '03 (with 18" Dunlops on Turbo Wheels) has been vibrating at approximately 75 - 80 mph, I think the car needs to be speed balanced and aligned, is the dealership the best place to get this done? Any ideas?
  14. Just to give Rich the benefit of the doubt. I ordered decals from him last month and received them right away via USPS. Judging from his e-mails he appeard to be a reasonable guy.
  15. 0586slb, I do in fact keep the car outdoors, and there are a lot of trees where I live. I am sure this was the cause of the problem. I could not see what came out, but I poured water down the drains and they appeared to be working properly. I still want to try the compressed air method to make sure I got everything out. From now on I'll maintain those drains regurlarly. By the way, the car is a 2003.
  16. Wire hangar did the trick. Thanks guys. I appreciate the input.
  17. Is it that easy? I don't want to break it. Thanks
  18. Is this the best way to maintain the drains? Can I use something else other than a coat hanger? It may scratch the interior of the drain and rust?
  19. Well, here is what I was able to see. It apers that there is a hole on each side of the car under the top. I am assuming that they're some kind of drains. I stuck my finger in the one on the driver's side and it was pretty dry and no obstructions. But when I put my finger in the one in the passenger's side I could feel water (well I hope that's what it was) and I could feel something inside. It kind of slid further in, out of my finger's reach. So am I correct? These are drains right? Can I put something in there and push whatever obstruction it was all the way out? Could this be the problem? Any suggestions? Thanks
  20. As I got in my car and drove away this morning, I heard a strange noise behind the passenger seat. It appears to be water! I can hear it splashing back and forth somewhere in the back. Also, there is water under the passenger's seat. This has never happened before. Any ideas? Should I just take it to the dealership since it is still under warranty? Thanks.
  21. Thanks for the info. Good stuff!! :clapping:
  22. I have attached the picture of the door sill. The part number is 986-551-303-00-A03. The list price for each is $57.48, but if you get it from Sunset it will cost you $35.64. I thought they didn't look too bad for 36 bucks. Anyways, good luck.
  23. Any suggestions? Would definitely like to match the factory color. Thanks.
  24. Is it possible to paint them red? Has anybody done this? Anybody recommend this?
