  1. Thank you everyone for the suggestions. Didn't notice this before but in both the parking light position and low beam position the brightness or lack there of is the same. Bulbs are not brown in color. All other lighting positions work, fog lights etc. Don't think the alternator would be an issue with the high beams working fine. thanks for the help, Josh
  2. Thanks Maurice, parking brake light does not go on. Did some searching and found the procedure for replacement http://www.bombaydigital.com/boxster/projects/parking_brake_switch/ I did see one post referencing that the switch can be accessed without removing the console however I don't know if that is correct or not. Thank you again for the help, Josh Josh: It's not clear from your post whether the parking brake light on the dashboard lights up when you pull up on the handbrake. Without that light on, the top will not get power. If the light is on and you still get no power, there are a number of other possible causes. Post here if the light does go on but still no reaction from pressing the button. Regards, Maurice.
  3. Yeah, did try that. Will see if I can find the article on the hand brake switch. Thanks for the lead Michael. -Josh
  4. New owner of an 02 Boxster S. The low beams are extremely dim (can barely tell they are on), high beams function normally. Any ideas? Thanks for the help, Josh
  5. New owner of a 2002 Boxster S. I can't get the roof to open, when I pull the lever the windows lower as normal, but pressing the lower/close switch does nothing, no noise or anything. I don't know if this is a contributing factor, but roof worked prior to the replacing of the battery. Thank you for any help, Josh
  6. 2002 Boxster S Becker CR220 type: 4462 serial: 25013468 Thanks for the help, Josh
