  7. Yes, there are brake shoes inside the hub. No, the hand brake should be fully released when adjusting. After proper adjustment the brakes should stop the wheel from spinning at 3 clicks of the handbrake. I have got 7 clicks on my handbrake until it wont move. So, basically just jack up, wheels off and make sure handbrake is released. Then maybe tighten 5 clicks each side and then apply handbrake? Which was is tighten when you look at the wheel, is it clockwise? Thanks Loren
  8. So basically the 997 is just adjusted via the rear discs through one of the bolt holes ? Do you need to not have the handbrake applied when adjusting? Thanks
  9. Morning Guys, I am aware of the two ajusters behind the rear discs but what is the actual procedure for doing this job? Cheers
  10. Cheers boys. I'll post a pic when completed. I think the black 911 emblem goes far better on the back than the Carrera one.

  15. Hi Car has 36k on it. I thought the gearbox oil would have been drained off to access the transmission? As I say I have little knowledge in this area. Thanks for any help.
  16. Curious really. I realise the actual clutch will be changed, just starting to slip now so I have caught it early, but what else? Gearbox oil ?? Other bits ??

  20. I have tried for several hours to remove this. I've looked underneath in the glove box where the storage system is and there are two holes but when I insert a tool I cant feel anything. I know the box is made by Fischer and called a C-Box. I've even taken the cup holders out and still no joy. Any help appreciated.
