  1. Read any contract very carefully. One company specified in the contract that "Any known or unknown pre-existing conditions with your vehicle will result in a claim denial". That would be pretty much everything. I'm sure they'll pay for inexpensive items up to a point, as noted, about 30% of what you paid for the policy. Then expect "pre-existing" conditions. Any modifications? Denied! Pay into a maintenance/repair account. That's the best bet and save the heartburn.
  2. Thanks to your DIY I have a nice new-looking key. My other key is still new so didn't replace it. Cheers!
  3. I assume you've run the engine to repressurize the system? All fluid reservoirs are filled? Have you replaced the accumulator? Is there a difference in clutch feel with and without the engine running? Some more information will be helpful.
